All bar the first couple of pars is behind a paywall, but The Times is reporting that the PFA, having helped Ken pay Nov & Dec wages, have now turned off the tap.

Ken claims he "personally funded the wages". Let me guess he stuck £50 in and let the PFA do the rest.

Time to go Ken. Time to go.

Suspect the winding up petition got resolved then Ken took the offer of someone else’s cash (so it didn’t hit his Barbados budget) after all. The ‘crime’ being the (propaganda) piece on the bwfc website was never updated that said Ken was paying the players out of his own pocket.

He’ll pay it when the league money lands which probably means no Doidge et al until after that.

Quite pleased the league have done it in a way - anything to move Ken nearer the exit door now is welcome.

Hearing stock is being reclaimed at the club shop at this very moment by a company called Euro Sport. #bwfc

So says Marc Iles.

I feel we are nearing the end game.

The Mrs is on twitter and said that shorty after Iles tweet the club tweeted "come on down and get this seasons shirts at heavily discounted prices" or words to that effect.

Mrs therefore thinks Iles has got it wrong until the club deleted their tweet more or less straight away.

No idea what this could mean but there arw worrying rumbles around the club today. More so than recently

BN update. "The club is now under an embargo that prevents loan pair Christian Doidge and Remi Matthews from completing permanent moves to Bolton, while Gary O’Neil – whose short-term contract has expired – is being prevented from re-registering [...] Because of the debt to football creditors, the club is now unable to bring in new faces until the debt is paid [...] The Bolton News also understands the Bolton Whites Hotel has been issued with a winding-up petition by HMRC and the club shop is to have stock removed by suppliers Euro Sport due to outstanding debts."

I met with an established player (who is currently playing in the championship who also has premiership experience.) yesterday who was offered a contract by Bolton.

He liked the club and the reason he chose the other club was our Chairman, I won't repeat the phrase he used to describe him on an open forum. That is the cancer at the heart of BWFC at the moment until that changes we will not attract players our managers.

( I know I have posted this in another topic but it is valid for both )

FGR chairman Dale Vance:

From Monday morning, Christian Doidge is back with FGR. We've taken the decision to recall him after his loan agreement expired last week amid continual contractual breaches by Bolton Wanderers.

It became clear to us that Bolton entered into a contract to loan and then buy Christian last August without the means to honour it, and perhaps the intention to do so as well. They haven't even paid his wages for the last four months (we have).

It's not just FGR that have been let down badly by Bolton, but Christian too.

Bolton's Chairman, Ken Anderson, made a lot of promises on the last day of the transfer window, both to Christian and FGR, and has kept none of them. This is all his work and from talking to Ken he feels immune from the consequences - but some of these promises are written in legally binding contracts, and we'll be pursuing them.

When the dust settles, we'll talk to the EFL about how they regulate clubs like Bolton. They already regulate the club to a degree, controlling all TV monies to make sure that football debts get paid. Hard not to wonder whether the league could also have a role in approving the terms of any contracts entered into - to make sure that they are actually within the means of the club. We had no way to know, but the EFL should have the inside view on that.

And finally (for now...) - Disappointing as it is to see this go pear shaped, both for FGR and Christian, I'm also excited by the prospect of the second half of the season with Christian back with us. I'm sure all FGR fans everywhere will join me in welcoming him back 😃
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

This guy who owns us is an utter, utter prick isn’t he?

Alright when it works out but it’s got all the hallmarks of a disappearing act now. I have a horrible feeling it’s reaching a peak and the lack of the buyer means it is going one way.

Feel sorry for Doidge - his big move ruined, just as he was adjusting.

What are the options?
Admin?
Liquidation?!
Can Ken somehow be removed given it sounds like he is breaking EFL rules aplenty?
