Howard has returned! Not with a fanfare, but a tale of woe! :-)
He's talking a complete load of bollocks. Utter nonsense. Surely?
That is where I started with Howard, and now I am most definitely back there...
That's where I always was with him. Nonsense. Good knowledge of the situation and accounting - but after that a load of imagination!
It's the little touches such as the access road for the Bolton West road system in her latest update - it's been really funny. :D

Clearly some stuff in there that is broadly correct (but fairly readily available through things like the Accounts), some elements plausible to be correct and others that look wide of the mark. There were enough correct calls early doors around dates etc. to give it further credence. Clearly someone is putting a lot of effort in. Not sure to what end...most wind-ups last maybe a day or two...
I note Nixon is hinting he knows who it is and that it is a fantasist with a particular agenda....

The access road thing - where would the road be? The club do not own land other than immediately around the ground and there is no possibility of any road there (and it has been investigated A LOT by the previous ownership!)

I think they said themselves they had a particular agenda - so no big "discovery" there.

I wasn't suggesting the bit about the land was necessarily true - I was suggesting it was one of many decent story spinning touches. Knowing that there are changes proposed relating to the East/West road network across Wigan/Bolton and weaving it into the story as something from which they could see "value"...it's more information that you'd normally get in a pure wind-up, that's quite a few dots to join.

We do own land out at Hall Lane/Lostock Lane (other side of de Havilland Way to the Club) - that's what Brett Warburton's security is against...I have no idea if we have other "plots" that might play a part as an access road...

At least I managed to copy the full wank, as it were. On the previous page of this thread. I have it copied just in case that mysteriously disappears too,

Ditto. It'll be because Kenny has threatened to sue. There were claims on it that were probably libellous.

There was some ¨dodgy Ken¨ talk before it went poof. Maybe the mods pulled it in self-preservation. Shame, say there were plenty clinging to it like a straw in the pacific.

Aah - I did see a comment by, what's the other Ayn Rand character (Ayn Rand ffs), saying something about libellous comments.
Yeah, 'straw in Pacific' is about right - nice call...

My gut is there have been some part truths exposed on that thread and for whatever reason, Paul Aldridge or one of the Andersons have had it pulled. Let’s face it most of us believe they are dodgy - they will, I imagine, flit in legal ‘grey areas’...it worked for a while but it’s come home to roost now and the amount of debt they have tried to hide has killed us.

FWIW, if you are reading this Ken, Paul and Lee - we can’t prove anything but we all know you are crooks and you have killed our club. The day you get run over by the team coach can’t come quick enough for me you utter c u n t s.

Funnily enough (& kinda wish I did now - damn that cuddawuddashudda) I'd been thinking last week that that whole thread would have been a wonderful demonstration of power (& class) relations through text-based communication -would be a great article (academic or otherwise).

Wonder if there's a web-scrape of it around (maybe wayback machine)? Hmm

Balls, just checked:
"No URL has been captured for this domain."

Who's They.
It was Howard giving it the 'Big Know All' shit.
One poster asked him if he was aware of the law around libel... To which Howard replied [verbatim] "Very".
So, that means he stuck by what was already in the public domain (of which at least I have a copy, 8) )

Not sure we can still afford a team coach...
