Last time we went down to league one I posed the question whether any other supporters had seen fewer points / as many defeats in the past 5 years. I think either Worthy or DSB answered...Sunderland and Villa were the only two worse performing teams at that point. I doubt there’s anyone else now - we surely have to support the worst team in the land.

We're sh!t. But, at this moment in time, aren't Ipswich sh!tter? (But, I think I might have missed the point of your question.)

25 years locked into that Civil Service mentality will do that.

4-4-2 confirming something we've all known. Bolton are the hardest team to support right now

Flanners!!!!
Very decent summation

The boy can write. That’s why I hired him. That’s why they let him write Who Put The Ball In The Munich Net. Also a lovely bloke with whom it’s a pleasure to go to away games, eve when we’re gash. I look forward to next season’s fruitless trip to Lincoln...

So I dunno if it's a very mild form of ptsd (w. all due respect etc.) but I feel incredibly flat about all this - quite possibly even more anxious than before.

Really need to get over miself here, 'cos all I can see are the vultures descending to pick the carcass clean...

The BN photo caption labels Bassini as "potential" new owner.
Sir Dave Richards has a dreadful reputation, so it seems the Unibol is becoming a refuge for scoundrels. Mind you, was it all that different in the Gartside years? People didn't care too much while the team was doing well.

Not too sure the "Dressed by Oxfam" sartorial style inspires much admiration. Used to be a time when such an occasion would be "best bib and tucker" time. Old fashioned me...

I'd have been more impressed if he'd walked across from Horwich Parkway Station. Club can't pay its staff and the new boss arrives in a Rolls Royce? Tactless or what?

I'm considering re-enacting here. 12 of us piled into the back of a rental van, taking turns to sit on the spare wheel for comfort. Who's up for it? :D

Come on, be fair Nicholado, Triggere's brush has lasted twenty years with careful maintenance...

Phil Parkinson ‘I was told that there would be a finish to this one way or another this week. It was administration or a new owner’.

Funny that.....

Not sure why that's funny, I believe he was commenting on what he was told early last week.
