Sadly, indeed it must. Both of them.
BWFC was a basket case long before Our Ken wheeled his barrow through the front door.

Why do we have to blame anyfxcker?
Do you, yes you any of you, have a spare fifty million you want to waste?

The problem with debt is £700m could be serviceable and £2 could bankrupt you. The number is almost inconsequential. He bailed us out, as other have done whilst he's had fck all to do with Club ownership.
Davies didn't try and buy Doidge, loan players from Norwich and not cough up. Anderson needed to set a wage budget the Club could afford. If he couldn't pay the £5m loan from Davies, he shouldn't have taken it.

Would never blame a man who pumped hundred millions in a club then writes it off. Mr Davies invested and took us to lofty heights until he could not do it anymore. The other two are con men (Anderson and Bassini). No doubt about that, and thanks to the PFA and players, we fan have very quickly realised that. Their unholy aliance has quickly unveiled itself.
Need to get rid of both through whatever means possible.

How about a bloke who was paid 600k a year minimum, assured us our 'real' debt was serviceable due to yer man not wanting his wedge back and who signed off on Keith Andrews getting 30k a week over 3 years & Ben Amos 16k a week over 3 years?

The problem lies with the industry. It's being going downhill since the professionals took over from the amateurs back in the 1870s.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 7:16 pmThat's where I think the problem lay.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 6:49 pmMe neither.irie Cee Bee wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 6:31 pmWould never blame a man who pumped hundred millions in a club then writes it off.

He was a fan who did a great job but once the taps were turned on couldn’t turn them off. But he and ED actually loved the club inspire of both making errors and ED’s somewhat bizarre behaviour in the sale process.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 6:49 pmMe neither.irie Cee Bee wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 6:31 pmWould never blame a man who pumped hundred millions in a club then writes it off.

The current wankers couldn’t care less and in my view KA actively wants to take the club down.

Basinni is looking like no more of a solution than K.A, who is now saying he hasn't got the money to fulfil his promises. (This morning's Sun, which is as reliable as the weather) What an absolute cock-up.

Well yes and no. It's an unsustainable business model for sure. But. There's a pretty good view of our likely revenue in any given year. Sanctioning transfers and loans in excess of what we could afford (which both Gartside and Anderson look have done) is just plain irresponsible.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2019 7:40 pmThe problem lies with the industry. I'm aware that it has little impact in relation to secured debt, but you'd expect, given the statements about "small profits" in relation to the overdue accounts, that we'd have been operationally OK this season, which we seem to have been a long way from...
Anderson can't have his statements from both angles. Man's a shit house.

Bassini looks to be a convenient fool for Anderson. Like Green's Dominic Chappell.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2019 10:56 amBasinni is looking like no more of a solution than K.A, who is now saying he hasn't got the money to fulfil his promises. Nixon claims another buyer - a new one - is interested and would rather avoid admin. So we’ll see on that.

Must be a fan if they are more concerned about a points deduction before a knock down purchase price. Promising, if true.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2019 1:54 pmNixon claims another buyer - a new one - is interested and would rather avoid admin. So we’ll see on that.

True. But a lot of things have been promising if true. As usual, we'll find out. They might, as Basran and others have done, find themselves unable to deal with Anderson and his legacy.piesrus wrote: ↑Sun Apr 28, 2019 3:54 pmMust be a fan if they are more concerned about a points deduction before a knock down purchase price. What I would say - without having done the actuarial sums involved - is that a -12pt deduction must surely have a significant effect on our chances of being promoted straight back (after which, I believe, EFL registrations restrict overspend more rigid). It's not my money but they may think it's worth paying a premium in order to get on with it for a faster return, in many ways.
Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Minus 12 points and club has massive red flashing light over it in terms of attracting players and management (plus the damage the last few months have inflicted on reputation - but that can quickly change in football). Minus 12 points means a battle to stay in League 1 and a distinct possibility of league 2. You'd probably need 50 points to be safe - meaning we'd need 62. We have barely won a game in two seasons - the winning habit doesn't just click back in. So that is a distinct chance of 4 seasons in the bottom 2 divisions as a minimum. Plus, looking at some reports (but would like it clarifying) admin still leaves you with debts to pay. And there will be some bills owed to local people, earning an honest living - surely admin screws these people over.
It won't be hard to work out who has to be paid immediately (HMRC for example) and those willing to wait (council for example). Therefore the actual amount needed upfront may not be as eye watering as reported (especially if some of those owed money are brought into the takeover).
I'm not holding out much hope on the latest Nixon rumour, and Bassini has lived up to every story reported by Watford fans (other than the red hat).
See what tomorrow brings.

As I have it:
- tomorrow brings Ken's deadline for Bassini to produce the money to pay bills
- on Tuesday, the April salaries are due
- on a day before Sunday, the EFL want us to field an XI against Brentford
- on Sunday, they want us to put out an XI to play Forest
- on Wednesday week, we're back in court for the HMRC winder
If Bazz can't meet tomorrow's deadline (highly likely), then Kenneth considers his options. Possibly (but, I think, unlikely), someone else makes a bid between now and the court appearance.

Maybe someone has made a bid already, hence the deadline for LB. Sale and wages paid on Tuesday, Brentford played on Thursday, Forest on Sunday. Happy days.
