All a bit like High Noon (although it's 7'0 clock), clock ticking on the wall in the Sheriff's office, Wonder which one will be Gary Cooper? .. :?

Been told the youth (schoolboy age) teams have been told not to turn up at BWFC until further notice. There will be no training or football matches. Presumably (my guess) as the coaches have downed tools as well as they haven't been paid. I can't imagine they would be massive salaries.

It's not just the cost, it's also the motivation. Ken doesn't want to pay, even if he can. Bassini doesn't seem able to pay, even though he (says he) wants to.

A sad, sad mess.

I do wonder whether the (senior) players might relent if it becomes clear that failure to fulfil fixtures could cause expulsion or further points deficit. That doesn't punish the owner, it punishes the fans (and next season's players, some of whom are they).

Ken won't pay his car park fee never mind wages.I know nowt, but papers finally get signed, debts passed on and Ken strolls off into the sunset grinning is my view. He's already had a tidy sum in director fees etc, and he really isn't going to walk without a profit. Football should be run by football people, not Shylock money graspers. Ken's pound of flesh has nothing to do with flesh but a lot to do with pounds.

Wouldn't surprise me if, in the fullness of time, it will transpire that Bassini was "Employed" by KA simply as a smokescreen in order to keep up the pressure until the only alternative left is admin. Then Ken walks away with a handsome profit while leaving all the debt behind. Perhaps the financial authorities will bar him from all positions for life. 8)

One thing's for sure, K.A. should never be allowed near owning or being on the board of a football club again, ever.

But Shaun Harvey said a couple of weeks ago that Ken had done a good job?

This is how the EFL think. If you run a club into the ground, fail to pay staff for two months. Force parts of the business to close. Make it virtually impossible for anyone to buy the club. Then agree to sell to a chancer who cannot provide proof of adequate funding...you’ve done a great job my son...have another go....

Thursday - LB attempts to do whatever it is he has to do to meet the EFL's requirements.

Friday - KA considers his options in light of whether or not LB has met the EFL's requirements. The hotel might or might not reopen.

Saturday - Star Wars Day.

Sunday - we fail to field a team against Forest. No one notices.

Monday - Bank Holiday. Yay!

Tuesday - meeting of the SAG.

Wednesday - random High Court judge grants Stoney a three year extension "to resolve outstanding matters".

Thursday - the under-12s face Brentford in front of a packed Uni Bol. Winners will start next season with a +25 points head start.

Friday - EFL deduct us 25 points for a typo in the programme for the previous day's game.

Saturday - LLS's fairy godmother rides into town on a rainbow unicorn and saves the day.

The crystal ball goes a little hazy at this point.

Games now due to go ahead according to Iles... (based on PFA part payment)... Parky should complain about the fixture pile-up when he's interviewed before Forest game...

So Sunday's on (cos it's away) but we'll have to see if the coach driver turns up

Then convince the SAG to let us play the Brentford game

Could the Brentford game be played at a neutral ground?
