Football finance expert Kieran Maguire, on Twitter. Interesting that it’s disappeared. Maybe he’s just tidied up the typo.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 8:56 amWell seeing this thread made me sick a little. Where is the quote from Barnetto?
EDIT Nope, still there: https://twitter.com/kieranmaguire/statu ... 74338?s=21

It's correct - all the paperwork supporting the story is on Company's House...Bassini took control of Inner Circle Investments May last year. The paperwork surrounding the charge being cleared was filed on 7th December...Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 10:08 amFootball finance expert Kieran Maguire, on Twitter. Kieran Maguire, my number one suspect. The tweets now disappeared, has it?

Its still there then. No surprise that FIBS are well represented in the comments.
Re: Ken Anderson - Old Owner (Definitely. For Ever ..... )
The inference that Maguire was trying to draw was:
Anderson = rogue
Bassini = rogue
ergo
Moonshit (sic) = rogue.
All above board obvs!!!!!!
So what inference were you trying to draw DSB?
Erm is not an answer.

Interesting that this thread should be resurrected in this manner. It started off not too badly in 2016 before turning to 90% bullshit in 2019.
I really don't know what DSB sees in Kieran Maguire. To me he seems to be a bit like Daniel Taylor's description of Sam Allardyce:
'far too full of his own self-importance and nothing like as streetwise or intelligent as he likes to believe.'

You've just demolished the site's Irony meter. I hope you're proud of yourself.

I'd like to here from the organ grinder if you don't mind, HG.
Why did DSB choose to resurrect this thread by circulating Maguire's cheap jibe?

Here come the easily amused. You'll find bullshitters everywhere and they do have their followers but is it that difficult to recognise 'em when you see 'em, hear 'em or smell 'em?
Re: Ken Anderson - Old Owner (Definitely. For Ever ..... )
Its about bullshit and bullshitters, DJ, and the long history of published bullshit concerning BWFC.
There's a thread on Bolton Nuts entitled The Bullshit Papers. It followed the granting of an honorary doctorate to Dean Holdsworth by the University of Bolton. Here are a couple of samples:
'Don't ask me why but I was wondering yesterday what Deano might be doing for a living these days.
Could Dr Holdsworth be on Universal Credit and looking at a £20 a week drop in his income? Could he be picking broccoli in Lincolnshire on £30 an hour? What happened to those two businesses he told the Grauniad about and that they told anyone daft enough to believe 'em that Deano was a business tycoon that had led the 'consortium' to buy Bolton Wanderers.
Anyway just to prove that the Grauniad and the Beeno don't have a monopoly on bullshit here's a classic from the Daily Mail:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footb ... -days.html'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ampionship
Four years before the Grauniad published this piece of purest bullshit, BWFC was in the Premiership. In the following year the club reported losses of £50m. Don't you think that anyone, even vaguely normal, would have asked some questions about Dr Holdsworth's financial standing and where the £7.5m had come from?

I'd rather read about erectile dysfunction in German.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

What better way to start the weekend than a bowlful of vintage bullshit for breakfast. Today's serving comes with the impeccable provenance of the Daily Mirror and the Beeno. Enjoy it again.
