Watching the radio Manchester periscope stream. Slagging off the previous board. Saying they uncovered a host of crazy contracts and financial decisions that only came to light after takeover.
Has instructed Deloitte to file the accounts. Will be done within a month. Accounts won't be pretty.

Embargo still stands. Will do until accounts are filed and football league discussions take place.
Don't intend to make signings in January as Parky doesn't feel need to unless someone exceptional becomes available.

Doesn't see Clough or Vela leaving this window. Suggests it would only happen if a Premiership club came in with significant money.

Investment to get us through till the end of the season will be a mixture of debt and equity.

Macron payment likely to go to a legal case. Previous board signed a deal that Anderson has consulted sponsorship experts on and they believe to be 'ridiculous'.

Supporters trust asked for him to do a Q&A with them.
Ken didn't see why they should get specific special treatment.

He seems very calm on everything! pretty much said all the media speculation is bollocks!
By what I've seen I'm very impressed with our chairman!! he should be praised for what he's done so far!

According to the BEN live transcript, it reads that we received a bid in excess of £10m for Vela in January. That can't be right?
Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Nah, first question was: "are we under any pressure to sell Clough and Vela" and KA replied something along the lines of "I've assured PP that unless we get £10m...."bristol_Wanderer3 wrote:According to the BEN live transcript, it reads that we received a bid in excess of £10m for Vela in January. He did said we turned down around £2.5m last January - doesn't say who (Clough Bristol City anyone?)

Excellent Q & A from Ken tonight - the guy is very switched on, open, professional and comes across very sincere and genuine.
He's doing his very best for the club after inheriting an absolute financial mess and as others have mentioned absolutely he should certainly be praised for what he's done so far - and he confirmed that he has further investment lined up once Holdsworth's Blumarble mess has been sorted.

BN live "commentary":

Apparently, we have one player who earns as much as the entire Walsall squad.

Trying to guess who that is. Mark Davies was the name I settled on. Who will have been fit for about athird of the games he has been paid for? Nice one!
Some decent responses there. Good that the accounts are going to be filed. How many times was he asked about the "long run". We have some moon men as fans!

If they are filed within a month! I'm not holding my breath.officer_dibble wrote:Trying to guess who that is. Mark Davies was the name I settled on. Who will have been fit for about athird of the games he has been paid for? Nice one!

On the face of it he's seems like he's got his head screwed on though.
It will be interesting to see how badly Davies, Gartside and go messed up. I'm expecting some Ridsdale/Seth Johnson type stories to come out.

Interesting comments about Davies and his stake. Despite what the rumour mill says even the bloke that's inherited the mess doesn'the appear to have much bad to say. Said it before, Davies wasn't on the Board, so day to day running was down to PG and the others.

He owes Davies money. Which he claims is renegotiated. He can hardly slag him off in public.Worthy4England wrote:Interesting comments about Davies and his stake. He did commend him for the financial support he'd given the club with the caveat of 'I know he let things get bad at the end'.
So not a glowing reference in the entire context but about fair.
Nobody questioned the support Davies put in. His handling of things at the end was poor. And I don't think there is any argument against that.
Also emerged the club sold the 'car parks' the North stand offices and Euxton. Be interested to know if the club owns any car parks as from last night it sounded as though they don't.
