SSN say we've rejected it. Iles seeking confirmation.

In other news though, Kathy Lloyd... haven't thought about her in years...

How much did holding to for in the end? Was it 2m? If so, 3.5 for clough isn't bad is it?

Incidentally has holding played much recently?

:) Perhaps we can get her to make an appearance in the match day programme? Wearing a skillfully draped wanderers scarf?

I'm not worried about it being too skillful....

In fact Madine's level would be just about right - miss completely...

Reports vary because it's one of those highly structured fees with add-ons for appearances, landmarks (first-team debut, comps won, caps won) etc. But it seems to be around £2m basic, the the scope for more.

Not for the first team. He's on the bench about half the time but hasn't kicked a Premier League ball since August. He's played in the cups – League Cup, FA Cup and a Champions League group dead rubber – but he must be fourth or fifth choice at centre-back now, and he didn't get a game at right-back even when Wenger was playing folks out of position there. Might get a loan out, but probably not to us.

Different type of transfer. Arsenal is a vastly more attractive destination than Forest, who are currently managerless under a hated owner who wants to sell up – in other words, a car crash going over a cliff into an abyss. As for us: yes it's money, but it's also selling the only bloke who can be anything like relied upon to score a f*cking goal. Our win percentage this season is 68% with Zach, 23% without. His goals have got us nine points, without which we'd be ninth.

Folk paying stupid money for Champo-level players, which Clough is at the very least. Depends how desperate we are for the cash ofc, but if we don't need to sell I'd be wanting £8m+.

Played in Arsenals last match - 5-0 drubbing of Southhampton in the FA Cup. Played all 90 mins.

Edited for picture size. Can't edit his top though, still looks like a jockey.

ALF back, loan till the end of the season. Happy with that. Give Parky his due, he does seem to spot the problems rather than stockpiling full-backs as we've been known to do in the past!

F*ck off Nadine!

Interesting to see how we accommodate ALF. But having another natural scorer in the squad has to be good news..

In other news, Eoin Doyle went to Portsmouth. I think Bradford were after him too? So it may mean they will be in for Proctor

I worry that a lot of expectation is being placed upon a thirtysomething who's scored four in his last 42 appearances. And I give it three games before there's at least some knownowts on his back. I wish him all the best and I hope he fires us all to promotion. COYWM.

...which, assuming Bradford don't want Proctor, leaves us smiling sweetly at Port Vale hoping they'll take him on instead.

Well, we agreed a bid with Brizzle City...Wasn't the Club that turned it down...
