Were they both one year deals as well? I cant remember a striker ever having as little impact as Procter.

We are very very weak out wide. A young lad from Brum doesn't fill the gaps. Clough and Ameobi were first teamers. Who plays there now?

Seems like a productive window. Shame about Clough but Forest isn't Bristol City.
Anyone know how many free squad places we have now?

We can only name 5 loans in a match day squad.

So not sure how signing more loans is really helping.

Given Thorpe, Taylor, Henry, Le Fondre, Long and the lad from Brum are all loans, one has to miss out.

He might be amazing. But I'd wager his lack of experience will mean Parky won't always pick him. Especially given my post above.

Also IMO a kid who has hardly played football, cannot be relied upon to replace someone with the impact Ameobi had. Ok, he might, but to me, on the face of it, it's not a satisfactory solution.

Even if he's amazing, we'd still only have two wide players in the squad and both are right footed.

I'm personally trusting that Parky will have everything he needs for the rest of the season. Wasn't counting Ameobi leaving as part of the window. Presumably KA and son are doing good deals and restructuring is progressing. Hopefully there would be addons with Clough.

Relatively happy, but i was happy when Elmander and Ngog signed.

It's going to be interesting to see how Parky fits le Fondre and the rest of the signings into a starting eleven. 4-4-2 from now on, perhaps?

Shame about Clough, but only because he's young, English, home grown and the source of all our goals. But to earn 3 or 4 mil plus ALF I'm not too fussed. Losing vela however would be a disaster!

Not a one of 'em 6ft, so far. Apparently we're doomed.

I'm trying to keep up but keep getting distracted. What are the total ins and outs so far, anybody?

INS - Adam Le Fondre (loan), Viv Solomon-Otambor (loan)
OUTS - Jamie Proctor (loan), Chris Taylor (loan)

POTENTIAL INS - Filipe Morais (free), 'A defender' (?)
POTENTIAL OUTS - Zach Clough (permanent)

REJECTED BIDS: Mark Beevers, Josh Vela

List courtesy of Iles, who says "OK... Hearing there are still two or three deals to be done at Wanderers potentially. So don't go anywhere."

Townsend came on for Palace tonight. So I'd say so.
