Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
I'd rather it being in our hands than depending on someone else to lose as others are hoping that we do. We are in a great position and I expect us to be home and dried sooner rather than later. We just have to take care of business and I am confident we will. Bring it on!
Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
I'm predicting a point today, then Monday defeat for Bradford at Sheffield utd, Fleetwood draw at home to Millwall.
We beat bury and go up while they drop into the bottom 3.

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
I'm trying to just stay calm and enjoy each match as it comes, although I don't feel like that on the inside so not predicting anything
Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
Any way I'm setting off at 9 on my trip there so hopefully come back happy...

Beyond parody.
We may lose today, we may lose Tuesday and the week after. All of which would mean we could Still go up automatically on the last day.

One big magic hat.
Really hope we can get the win today and seal it at home against Bury.

Or we could just spend the next couple of weeks panic fannying. I'd like to think it would stop there, but we've an embargo and a transfer window to fanny over before panic fannying over the 'big teams' we'll have to play next season.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2017 10:50 amBeyond parody.

Oh give it a f*cking rest man.I did selfishly want us to go up next Saturday so I can do a pitch invasion but I don't think I can take another week of your teenage girlishness. Win today, up without playing on Monday. Carnival against Bury and smash them 5-0.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2017 10:38 amEasy win. Lol. I'm forgetting promotion and just thinking about winning this game, that's priority.

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
Well that was a let down. Said I'd bad vibes about this game.
You can be as positive as the rest but in reality this team doesn't work well under pressure and Bury will be another stubborn opponent on Tuesday.
This season will go to the very last game and if they fail they have only themselves to blame.
I said early season Bolton would end up playing Bradford in the play off final, this now becomes a more probability. Sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
Still second.
Now less likely that we'll get promotion against Bury, although still possible if Bradford lose at the champions and Fleetwood (bottom-six form over the last four home fixtures) lose at home to Millwall (fourth in the form table).
Also, makes it more likely that we'll get to see Prufrock's Port Vale pitch invasion.

Can't keep relying on the others to mess up.
Bury will show to be another set of stubborn bastards on Tuesday night. Never thought I'd said this but, we miss Madine!!

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
Don't get it at all. I had us on this poll finishing third. I'd rather be wrong and second than be able to say "Ahh ha. I was right all along" in some Russell Grant-alike manner.
This team looks a long way short of Championship mediocrity. We knew that, there's enough playing staff left to bear testament. There aren't any gimmies, but we will still be second with a bit of goal difference in our favour, after our next round of matches. Would have preferred to have it sealed by now, but we still have those advantages.

Re: The countdown- Where will we finish?
Maths not your strong point? On the 20 August BWFC were 11 points AHEAD of Sheff Utd, not a billion behind. So at the moment that is a swing of 23 points in favor of Sheff Utd. Yep the Champions are nervously looking over their shouldersLord Kangana wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2017 6:15 pmI suspect, no matter how pessimistic we may get on here, theres not a team in the top 6 who doesn't want to be us right now.
We've come from around a billion points behind Sheff Utd to within 4, and we've overtaken Fleetwood, who were probably the form team of the galaxy, to go 6 clear of them and with a superior goal difference. And handed them their arses at their own gaff in the process.
Personally, I'm not arsed that much about the title, promotion is our single focus, but f**k me, if you were in Sheffield right now you'd be looking nervously over your shoulder. And it's a hell of a carrot to our players to carry that momentum on for just 7 games.
