Re: What will we need in the Championship next season?
Anyhow, this thread makes me generally uncomfortable. I fear we are jinxing this. Fleetwood could yet win all their games meaning we'd need 3 wins still. 3 wins isn't a foregone conclusion.
Till we're over that line, we're not over it.

Ryan Jack out of contract up here in Scotland still 25 a good holding player Roma and Napoli scouted him three years ago right time for him to move down south
Sam Nicholson to free at Hearts a winger but can play centrally as a attacking box to box midfield he had Everton scouting him could be another out of contracr bargin still only 22 played well over a 100 games
Callum Paterson Hearts right back same age another free transfer that most championship teams will be after had interest from West Ham and Palace but might not get those type of moves after the injury but is free
Craig Sibbald at Falkirk to has Auld Firm in for him and Forrest Sheffield United again only 21 played over 100 senior games a attacking midfield play maker out contract 2017
Blair Spittall at Dundee United same again out of contract United knocked back a million from Hull he is a six foot center midfield man
Alec Russell Morton young attacking left back or left sided midfield man has Sunderland and Swansea watching him again out of contract reminds me of a Tierney is style of play or a Robertson
Jai Quotongo there to in contract teams like Southampton Hull Palace West Ham Swansea Brighton Preston Wigan Villa a winger might want to go somewhere he will play

Cifci on loan from Celtic maybe?Guy was lethal in a good Dundee United side a player in there somewhere just needs the boss with the right faith he is technically good for a big man someone with pace playing of him that can run behind defenders would workWorthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2017 6:45 pmWe need a 20 goal a season striker. Sam said so.
We need some additional defenders
We also need that midfield maestro/playmaker we've been looking for, for 100 years. (Certainly someone as well as Morais)

I suspect this thread won't have an appreciable impact on the team's results or performance! We'll just look a bit daft if it goes tits up.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2017 8:09 pmThis.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2017 9:33 amAnyhow, this thread makes me generally uncomfortable. I'm not as worried about jinxing things but after their impressive win in midweek, I can see Fleetwood winning their remaining games. If as fans we're already on the beach that could transmit to one or two players?LeverEnd wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2017 11:22 pmI suspect this thread won't have an appreciable impact on the team's results or performance! Re: What will we need if we're in the Championship next season?
I have a reverse theory based on the manager of the month jinx. Winners of that award have had a good run, so statistically may be due a defeat.
I reckon the chances of some poor schmuck fan witnessing 11 consecutive away defeats are slim, therefore I'm due a win.
Or something.

It's not often you get the player and manager of month together, i think statically its when one of the awards is won it tries to knock the result. I will put some positive mental attitude towards the team. I think 2 goals is coming from either beevs or wheats or 1 each plus the long one.

Sincerely hoping that our two free-scoring defenders remember to scoot back to their bases sharpish after any goal celebrations or sallies into opposition boxes for free kicks, corners or anything else that comes under the heading "set pieces" . I'm sure they will, but just in case....

If it goes wrong now, it is bloody Hoboh's fault for prematurely starting this thread.
You'd think anyone who has seen football would know that until mathematically certain, anything can happen. We need two wins. That is by no means a certainty.

Is autocunt a euphemism for Gary Megson?

Re: What will we need if we're in the Championship next season?
Next season, we need the transfer embargo to be lifted. We need someone to invest a few bob. We need a few thou on the average gate. We need fewer injuries. We need a regular goal scorer (ALF?). We need a bit more positivity (is that a word?) amongst the fan base. We do not need Mavies.
