There's a possibility - statistically, quite a strong one - that that game will end with Fleetwood thwarted and Vale relegated.

If Fleetwood score a winner/equaliser late on with us 2-0 or 3-0 up, I wonder if they'll still play the Captain Pugwash theme?
Since January we've played 10 home games. Drawn 5, lost 2 won 3. 2 of those 3 wins by a single goal that came in the last 10 minutes of the game!

If you want to talk statistically, this group of players we have now, haven't been in a comfortable winning position at home more than once.

So statistically our game will likely be tight.
Why did you pick you the 10 home games since January? That represents 2 league games during our old system and without Ameobi, A cup game against Premier League opposition, again in the same transitional period, and then 7 home league games with the formation we have used since the end of the January Tw, and since this crop of players got together. So essentially the last 10 home games means nothing at all. Surely if we are going to analyse over a relevant period it should be since the Walsall game, you know the home league games when we have played this formation with this group of players. Since then we have won 3 and drew 4. So therefore, statistically speaking, a 100% chance we don't lose on Sunday :)

Sorry, car parking question... I've never driven to the Reebok/Macron, let alone on a matchday. Other half has a day off so car it is. If it's going to be busy anyone know what kinda time should be ok to get into the carparks? If everywhere is full is there an overflow somewhere? Apologies

Or, of course, give them £5 for parking on their property.

Meanwhile, Iles tweets: "Pratley back in training after a hamstring injury for #bwfc - and Spearing and Madine fit to play."

Your natural state though, tbf. I don't know what to do with myself.

I was at Wrexham, I was at Hull, I was at Burnden for the Preston game and by feck I'll be there on Sunday, for what will hopefully turn out to be more of the same. I really don't fancy us in a play off situation. I'll take a 92nd minute penalty, although my heart might not.

I'm predicting an early deficit, followed by 80 nail biting minutes while we search for an equaliser and a euphoric finish. Madine to clinch it.......just so Bruce has to say something nice about him before the season finishes.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Not normally nervous really. More just prepared for the worst.

This time because we are so close, I'm giddy and nervous all in one.

Last time I was this nervous was the Preston play off game.

I honestly don't recall ever feeling this nervous ahead of a game. I suppose it's because this game isn't about it-would-be-nice-to-get-promoted, it's absolutely vital.

Indeed. Like that Preston play off final. God knows what would have happened without promotion. We were financially in a hole.

Am slightly nervous, but have felt confident for a while we would finish in the top2. At the end of the day we have better players than Peterborough. Will be reet :)

Didn't our better types lose to their poorer types at London Road?

Quite true Bruce! But here we only need to draw, it is statistically even more unlikely for poorer players to beat better players twice, and no team has done the double over us all season. On top of that we haven't lost at home with these players and this formation, We have close to our best team out, and if we need something in the last 10 minutes one would hope the fact they have nothing to play for might make a difference. Will be reet!

Of course in our current financial hole, a trip to the play-off finals would be great. Pity you can't guarantee promotion just by being in the play-off!
