Season Tickets 17/18

Prices up 13% on this season. I was expecting a freeze.
Also for some inexplicable reason they are charging a £10 admin fee for paying via direct debit. Surely that is just interest by the back door? Never charged a fee for that before.
Anyhow, still reasonable prices when you break it down per match. Think they've missed a chance though at freezing prices and building some more goodwill.

Really? When we're a division higher and the gates held up last year?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 1:42 pmhttp://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/article/2016 ... 03466.aspx

Just thought they might try and entice more in. It is a tricky decision always. Prices seem fair, I just sort of thought they might freeze them.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 1:49 pmReally? At the risk of becoming rather one-note, our promotion means we're leaping a huge financial chasm. Oh and we're in embargo.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 1:56 pmJust thought they might try and entice more in. It is a tricky decision always. Have to say that I was expecting an increase. When was the last time they went up btw?
13%'s a bit steep but it's not going to stop me from renewing.

To be fair they went down last year. The new price is the price of STs last year (in the championship) plus inflation.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 2:28 pmHave to say that I was expecting an increase. When was the last time they went up btw?

I didn't know that they'd gone down (or had forgotten) tbh. I just leave it to auto renew. I see that they're going to charge me £10 for the DD this time out too, which amounts to around 2.5% interest by the back door.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 2:35 pmTo be fair they went down last year. Yeah the £10 admin fee for a DD is nonsense.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 2:45 pmI didn't know that they'd gone down (or had forgotten) tbh. I just leave it to auto renew. Will be interesting to see if the rises in prices lead to supporters turning their back - Looking through Twitter, it already seems that way

You'll always get that sort of noise after a rise. But suspect we'll still sell more than this year in the end. And I suspect the revenue from sales will be higher than if they'd been priced at say £250.boltonboris wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 3:18 pmWill be interesting to see if the rises in prices lead to supporters turning their back - Looking through Twitter, it already seems that way

Part of the auto-renew crowd. Great that I don't have to arse around with actively renewing, where I'm likely to keep putting it off until I accidentally screw myself over on price...
Re: Season Tickets 17/18
I think reverting to the Championship price plus inflation is fair, but the admin fee on top of that seems out of order.
I decided ages ago not to renew because it's a 2.5 hour round trip from North Leeds and I'm fed up of it. Still expect to get to double figures both home and away though.

Well since I can't rely on LE's or BB's handouts next season I guess I'll have to take the plunge and buy a couple. I'm expecting a season of attrition but I'd like to show my appreciation of this seasons efforts

Re: Season Tickets 17/18
I'm fine with the increase. I expected 10% and it's not far off that figure tbf. I really can't see how they can justify the fact that it's £10/seat for the admin fee, when families etc will be paying on a single DD mandate.LeverEnd wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 10:04 pmI think reverting to the Championship price plus inflation is fair, but the admin fee on top of that seems out of order.

Do BWFC actually carry out any administration? As far as I can see my DD is between me and some finance house!

Re: Season Tickets 17/18
There's definitely work involved as some poor bugger has to match payments up etc to make sure nothings gone awry. That said, it is a bit Ryanair and I'm sure you can expect a seat selection fee next seasonBruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2017 9:28 amDo BWFC actually carry out any administration?
