Rumours this morning that Everton are after Celtic's Kieran Tierney to challenge/succeed Leighton Baines at LB. Could make the Return of the Jedi a bit more of a possibility if that comes to fruition.
Jedi is a possibility, but I'd also be looking at Brendan Galloway, formerly hoped to be Baines' heir. Came up through the MK Dons academy alongside Dele Alli and played for England U17/18/19/21; as a result he was coached well, playing in different positions to broaden his education, including centre-back (he's over 6ft), left midfield and central midfield. Lost his way a bit since, with faltering loans at faltering clubs (WBA and Sunderland), but there's a good player in there for a club who can put a bit of time into him. And at 22 he'll be wanting to kick on, too. Contracted to 2020 but clearly not part of Everton's longterm thinking, unlike Jedi; I think we could loan them both, with Galloway looking toward a permanent move while Jedi continues his development. Guess that would depend if Parky thought Galloway offered cover in different positions.

So that's 2 new signings by TOMORROW???
WOW, bring it on!
(Could include loans I suppose)
Wouldn't get that excited. Iles earlier in the week suggested 3 new faces would be added this week but he did stress" they may not be".

Had some training with us yesterday, whether on trial or about to sign.....

Soooooo they announce impressive international signing mission/jaunt.... and usher three benchwarmers off the team bus and through the backdoor at Lofton... Disgraceful!

You don't happen to know who was spotted?

Very likeable chap is Sammy. He may end up leaving for a big fee, but I hope he stays long term and both the club's and his fortunes rise simultaneously and he ends up a legend here.

There were blurry pictures floating around twitter. Couldn't tell who it was and might not even be new....could have been Mark Little but looked a big unit, bigger than Little. Think Iles was asked who it was but hasn't commented yet, which suggests its a trialist or potential new signing.

He doesn't look the best dribbler... Maybe it is Lebron James... Or could be Bruno N'Gotty* has come back to save us!

I think it's Little (vaguely tattooed arm) but he may have to change his last name or get dribbling a lot faster than that!

Could be Hope Akpan, from the photo. Too blurry to tell, but similar build.

It probably is Little, but if so he's put on some timber!

If you watch the video on the BWFC official site you can see one MYSTERY athletic big guy without a sportsbra doing the drills.

We could do with his size, apart from Wheevers we really are a pack of lightweights. Lost Wilbs, Pratley and Henry. Need some muscle.
Centreback? Or TS?

Yeah, but a range of passing wouldn't hurt either.

If we sign Jaoa Teixeira we are good for tricky buggers. We need a guy in midfield who can find them.

Pretty sure Akpan is in the training video a couple of times. Hard to be sure, but certainly looks like him.

Little is also in there still sporting his mini-fro. The guy with the crew cut and beard, who has about 2 stone on Little, looks like Akpan to me.

So is that the guy in the picture? I'm fairly certain now that is Little just bulked up. We'll find out I guess.
