What shoe size is he?
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Don't want to get bogged down in too much detail Tango. Trying to steer clear of any actual factual information.

Sure. 20 years old. 6ft 1in (1.85m). 12 stone (77kg) Very good athlete. Box to box centre mid. Can tackle and and head. Was linked with Aston Villa last year. Would be a stunning coup to get on a free.

You realise that all Pru and I were gently mocking was your over-americanisation of the greatest sport on earth. The use of huge volumes of context-less stats, using words like "roster" and the way you describe players positionally is all gratingly Americanised.
That's all. At least for me. Carry on as you were.

I love this new mysterious me. I'm like Alan Nixon or Superagent83.
Here, I'll give you some hints:
No, it's not Daniel Lafferty - wish it was - but you're close. You have the surname correct.
It's believed a seven-figure double deal could be involved...

Yeah I know. As a Kiwi I forget which are which we get both sets of TV down here and our English is very fluid. And I follow American sports as well and make metrics.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 2:04 pmYou realise that all Pru and I were gently mocking was your over-americanisation of the greatest sport on earth. Full disclosure for Tango:
The Greek is wanted by Bolton as part of a '£1.2 million double deal' alongside Hearts striker Kyle Lafferty.
Doesn't sound very Ken like at all. Unless we're selling someone like ALF or Beevers

Keeper Stephen Henderson is training at Bristol. One who was worth a look.

2.75 per game.
Appalling really.
Somehow he had 36 SCOTTISH (ta Jmjhb) Premier League games and conceded 62 at 1.72 per.
Alnwick last year (and career) is steady about 1.36 per and we almost got relegated.
David Stockdale (32) 272 Champ game for 232 goals at 1.19 per
Stephen Henderson (30) 121 Champ games for 164 goals at 1.35 per
Thomas Kuszack (36) 199 Champ games for 212 goals at 1.07 per
Boaz Myhill (35)176 Champ games for 212 goals at 1.20 per
Last season he shipped 47 in 48, less than one per game and we're already paying most of his wages.

Given the money being mentioned here, the fact we do not need TWO more strikers in relation to the rest of the squad, plus the denial via Iles (fwiw) I think this news is pretty tosh. Particularly if we're still pursuing Garner?mullayo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 2:16 pmhttp://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/08/08/re ... t-on-loan/

Don't think Ken likes him much. He's overpaid to be fair but good point. For the move to work we have to get someone cheaper than what the loan club is paying for Amos.
Probably why everyone has walked out on us.

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread
I don't even get how it's a "double deal" when they're at different clubs? The deals aren't reliant on each other... You don't give all the money to one person... More likely to be an either or scenario. And probably only paper talk to drive down Garner's price.palindromeofbolton wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 3:11 pmGiven the money being mentioned here, the fact we do not need TWO more strikers in relation to the rest of the squad, plus the denial via Iles (fwiw) I think this news is pretty tosh. Apparently in for Stockdale!
Yes. The one I would have had a go at.

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread
Apparently in for both Stockdale and Jonathan Grounds.
Both look very solid signings indeed if they come off. Would be very happy with both. Grounds has been pretty much ever present for Birmingham for 3.5 seasons until he got injured in February last year.

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread
And left back Jonathan Grounds. 30 with 200 Championship games.
Birmingham have to get in line with the FPP and need to shift some salary.
Might be loans but wouldn't mind signing them.
Could be getting some good last minute bargains.

Sounds like he's a long way from fit though.
Hasn't been training and the manager Gary Monk doesn't like him at all.
