New Kit: 2018/19

Post by palindromeofbolton » Thu Jun 07, 2018 5:06 pm

Another "peak" of the new home shirt on offish Twitter today effectively shows you how it's going to look.
https://twitter.com/OfficialBWFC/status ... 9623123968

Macron's stable of clubs has grown this year and they've come out with quite a few smart designs. This one looks reasonably smart and clean-styled, but also pretty bland and same-old, same-old, imo.

The "blockiness" of the Betfred logo doesn't help aesthetics either. Hey ho.

Thoughts?

EDIT: For fecksake, sorry, have just noticed a "peak"-free pic is up on bwfcdirect. Better in the daylight.

Can't find a pic of the back, Tango, though a version of it appears to be embossed into the material itself.

Have to say, it's gone up in my estimation today. I find the "stripes" quite appealing actually, tho - as the pic above shows - they'll look quite discrete compared to the version below.

I quite like it. Interesting take with the stripes. We've had very little going on in the middle of the kit since 2011-12 season so its nice to see they're at least mixing things up.

Would anyone have preferred this...

Maybe the back will look like this...

I would prefer a modern version of this one - the best shirt we have ever had :pissed:

This 'temporary' Hummel kit. I noticed one or two supporters yesterday wearing one. Now, ordinarily I don't tend to go in for replica tops (except for when they're getting shot of 'em for cheap at the end of the season). Anyway, I'd really like one of these before some bookie emblazons them with their brand, only, I can't find where they're available from. Anyone? :conf:

I created my own. Shirt itself is available here: prodirectsoccer.com/products/Hummel-Core-Hybrid-Match-Jersey-White-Marine-Mens-Football-Teamwear-197157.aspx?gclid=CjwKCAjwnf7qBRAtEiwAseBO_OWHiq_PYiNjT1lGGVQo9HU4MmGwRQgQKuvCootLKI6b_VPGJK79PRoChU0QAvD_BwE

I then bought an iron-on crest from eBay, but last I looked there weren't actually any available...

Lots of talk that the official kit won’t be a Hummel one. I mean it’s just rumour but I guess keep it in mind....

Or, if you're so inclined, pick the away kit in red or deep green for the keeper kits...

I can see a couple of these tops worming their way in to our house. One for me and one for my 4yr old grandson who was born and raised in Telford to a Wolves supporting Dad  Need to teach the young un how to say there's only one real Wanderers and it ain't from the Midlands

Home Kit (GBP 12.00) https://www.prokituk.com/teamwear/humme ... arine.html
Ordered it from this lot cheers, Boris. Comes to 17.99 when you've finished with postage and whatnot.

Struggling to find an iron-on badge though.

Just google it and save as picture - Then you could have (but didn't) have Prokit put it on for you for £3.99
