And, some sores, then Ben wallops, they clear for a throw. In their half and O will take it. And....Sammi....and...Groun ds, Noone and....Beevers. Wheats, Magennis......can't get the touch. Goal kick them. And.....and...Mac, they clear, Wheats finds Sammi, O now and....they clear and.....time ticks...two mins. Throw them and.....they hack clear. And Williams is down....but gets up. And now.....as the seconds tick.....Magennis sends one over the bar.. Noone clears but gets a bang on his head.

This second half has been a typical PP don't lose guys.
We were superb in the last 15 minutes of the first half and had we continued would have had these.

Noone comes to the line.....and Lowe clears for a throw to them. And.....2-2 and we get an away point. Bit of ding dongin going on after the whistle and Pearson gets a red card after the whistle......Williams might be in trouble and...he gets a yellow. Home players harrasing the ref and....wel, that's about it.

If I were Josh Vela I'd be training a little harder these next 2 weeks. Williams has just put in a right shift.
Wildshut. Get practising long passes as that one in the first half was criminal.
Gary O'Neil was excellent today.
The goal from Pawel was an outstanding team goal. Worthy of a £33 admission fee.

What a game!
MOM O'Neil. How many miles did that old man run today? And his corners/frees were good too. Cool head.
Runnerup Williams could learn from him. Kid has it all, including mongrel and bullying. He was into the opposition and their heads from the get go.He's not just a thug, has real quality on the ball and passing ability too. Star in the making.
We have our midfield. I should have thought of O'Neil for Vela earlier. He's been excellent.
Ameobi was good in fits and starts and Olki got better and better.

I disagree slightly. I think the last 15 minutes the players decided to shut up shop. Just when we were hannering at their door too.
We take a step forward play football for an hour then the old panic sets in.
But I think the players did it to themselves.
Happens when you got 3 defensive mids, 2 slow centrebacks, tired wingers and a target man - a natural inclination.
But Parky didn't run on negative subs per se.
What could've happened; did.

View from the game from our kid is Williams is a player.
That and the best right side in the league. Mid table I reckon. If Doige hits the ground running...

Yeah Williams. Ameobi, Olki are our three best players. Then Lowe...O'Neill if he was 10 years younger.
What could've happened; did.

22 man brawl by the sound of it. Pearson got sent off for headbutting Williams

If PP identified Murphy and Bucko as weak links last week (as opposed to them being injured), then well done. What I've noticed about Buckley though is that he's either in the first XI or not even on the bench. Trend continued today lol. Still, very good comeback. Wildschutt better as an impact sub, perhaps?

The way mic man called it, looks like Williams had been upsetting one/some? of the opposition players. A bit of a John Wayne bar-room brawl started then with everybody involved. No idea who was to blame but Pearson get a red card. Ref then came down our end and mic man thought Williams was getting one too. Luckily, he got a yellow instead so it look like Pearson was the villain.

We dominated that first half and when you posted this were 2-0 down thanks to a shocking mistake from Wildschut and an absolute wonder strike. But even at 2-0 down we were the better side on that pitch.
It’s embarrassing that you haven’t got a clue yet continue to post such vitriolic rubbish.
Today was the best we’ve played this season. The sweeping passing move and superb finish for our second goal belittling all the nonsense about only playing one way.
Our midfield was outstanding today, O Neill and Lowe were brilliant but Williams added another dimension.
Olkowski looks an absolute worldie right now. A superb result and a game that on balance we should have won.

Preston stiffened up their midfield and we found it harder second half. We still had the better chances to win it though. I don’t think we actively tried to sit deep but their manager pushed Robinson up and his pace meant Beevers and Wheater did their usual retreat act to compensate and the midfield found Preston matched our numbers up.

Didn’t really see it but in injury time Williams went down holding his head the ref stopped the game and then called the physio on. Preston weren’t happy and from the restart drop ball, Magennis booted it into our fans. Then a minute later Noone went down holding his head after what looked an elbow or arm at least, ref stopped it again. Then there was some aggro as Preston players presumably felt we were wasting time. Williams involved in some pushing and shoving. Mad thing was most of injury time was being played in Preston’s half they weren’t exactly pushing us hard for a winner anyway.Prufrock wrote: ↑Sat Sep 01, 2018 8:09 pmOh if he's an orrible little cnut too I'm all in.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat Sep 01, 2018 6:53 pmThe way mic man called it, looks like Williams had been upsetting one/some? of the opposition players. Final whistle went then suddenly a mass brawl in the middle. Williams does look a bit of a mouthy sort. But he also was driving our team on and seems a vocal sort on the pitch. At 2-0 he was imploring the others to keep playing. 3 leaders in centre midfield today. All proper players. Have a bit of a man crush on Jason Lowe. What a revelation he has been.
