Eddie Davies
He divided opinion at times, certainly in the last couple of years. But when all's said and done, he was one of us.
Rest in peace, Eddie.

RIP Eddie....thanks for funding the great times & allowing us to see the likes of JJ, Youri, Campo, Hierro, N'Gotty, Anelka etc.

RIP Eddie...True White. Sad day.
Re: Eddie Davies
I agree with the above comments. No matter what happened at the end of his reign at Bolton, he was first and foremost a fan. RIP.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

I paid my respects in the Banter R.I.P section, but I'll add R.I.P here. God bless .

Re: Eddie Davies
He gave the fans an opportunity to witness something we'll probably never see again. I've been a fan for many years, since the mid sixties and the best times was when Eddie was owner.
ED passed away last night whilst o]in Portugal. RIP fella it was good to know you.

Best days of my football life are down to that man. What a debt this club owes him.

That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Re: Eddie Davies
Thank you, Eddie. You were a fan, you felt every loss, you enjoyed every win. And the wins came because you cared enough to spend money on a dream.
Sleep well.

Re: Eddie Davies
Am I the only one finding the fact that they'd been talking 'on and off all day on Monday' and he died (presumably heart attack) Monday night a bit, well, contributory perhaps? I have a few other complaints about Kenneth's comments but maybe now's not the time...
Anyhow.

You're not the only one.
Shouldn't do, but I wonder what filled his mind Monday night.

It came to all our minds but lets not say it. For now, Lets mourn for the great man Eddie, a giant who gave his all for this club. It hurts but we are thankful for him, and hope his memory will be an inspiration to others who love this club.Jim_McDonuts wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 12:13 pmAm I the only one finding the fact that they'd been talking 'on and off all day on Monday' and he died (presumably heart attack) Monday night a bit, well, contributory perhaps? Re: Eddie Davies
A great man and lifelong supporter of our club.
He was there when we needed him.
Now we must show our wholehearted thanks at the QPR match.
