Free kick us in their half and.....some scores, then.......in and Wheats heads but its a goal kick. A mention of Frank Lampard, then.....Williams goes to the sideline for a quick puncture repair and now we try again and...they clear and have a passing bee, Lowe tackles well, we sally, they clear for a throw to us level with their box. And Okolsky gets us a corner. Oz and.....Wheats gets sun blinded (yeah?) We press and get another throw....Wilson (theirs) gets a throw. Some scores, they set off on a sally. Boggle ventures forth but it goes back to Carson. Boggle again, we head clear and....back they come and...Williams feeds Magennis but it goes back to Carson again. And again.
Noone tries a sally, they block and clear and.....they move forth again. . Lowe does well, they get a throw and....Magennis back heels but they get in, some back and forth and Mathews catches .

Free kick thirty out for them and.....Wilson and.....he hits the wall. Goal kick us and breathe out.....Mathews, Mac heads it out, mic man gives scores and....the visitors sally forth again and...they get a cross in and....Boggle and.....we shove them back. Wilson and Johnson come, Hobbs clears but Oz can't hold it. Another fee kick for them via Okolski. Boggle and....some possession from them, Wilson, ..we clear and....it ends up with Carson. Mac gets no cigar from the ref and gives Johnson a free kick. Samori now, Johnson goes backwards....

They sally at us, Mac presssures him and back to Carson and....they get it back. Oz can't do much and they clear well. Okolski wins the ball but....the ref gives them a free kick. Ok not pleased as he goes in the book.

Pawel very lucky to stay on the pitch there.

Dangerously high tackle.

Well we haven't the possession but we do have the lead right now. They come at us again and Boggle and....we clear, Bennet gets a cross in and....they get a throw via Okolwski. And....Boggle and...we clear....Mac clears, Carson gets it and sets them off again. Wilson, Forsyth....and offside gives us the free kick.

Bit of mither about Bury scoring, then....we almost gett the ball from Boggle and.....Buckley tries to go for a pen but gets naught. They counter and....Mathews says thanks. The homers send the ref a roar of disapproval for his pen refusal. They try again, Willians tries to feed Buckley,,,Grounds, Williams...and can't fine Oz. Carson wallops...Nuggent sallies and.....the ball gets to Boggle...crosses, Grounds clears for a throw. Half time approaches....

Here they come, forth, then back, then forth to Boggle. Samori and....Mathews nips out and grabs it. We break...Buckley, Williams and....they clear....Buckley getting the good words, Oz gives a free kick away, Boggle sallies. Johnson, Keogh, Wilson, Mount, Forsythe loses to Oz and...Mac to Noone and....Samori gets a throw. Mic man gives scores, then....Mount loses out but they recover and clear. Mathews wallops, Mac, Lowe, Grounds and.....we get a free kick and Johnson not happy. He gets carded and booked. And.......and....Grounds and.....it goes nowhere.

Oz short of pace and can't capitalise Buckley's good pass. Throw them, Boggle and.....Samori, Lowe challenges hard and late and....he goes in the book too. Must be half time soon...and....mic man thinks 4 mins added. And.....Noone, Lowe, Mac..and we get a throw......and...Mac heads....and it ends back with Carson. They sally at us then have a bit of back and forth and...Forsyth, Nugent, and a throw to them. Forsyth again and.....Mount and...Nugen tries one from thirty yards...a Wiganer. And......A wallop, and ohhhhhh...Oz lashed one from thiry as Carson spotted off his line. Didn't miss by much as the first half ends. 1-0 to us.

Can't say as there was no replay of it.

There has been several replays of Pawel's tackle. It gets worse everytime. I thought he was trying to slide to block the cross with a high boot however it's clear he wanted to stop the man.

A brilliant half. Committed and hard-working. They've looked dangerous but haven't created anything that can really be described as clear-cut, largely because of our players throwing themselves in the way and fighting for everything. We're having a lot of joy by hitting it long and catching them out. The players and the crowd are right up for it. An away performance backed by a home crowd.

Ps. They'll probably win it in the end, and we'll probably have a man sent off. Nevertheless, this has been lightyears ahead of what we offered recently.

Buckleys looked a penalty to me. Fair play to him too. After choking on his golden opportunity the way he collected the ball and the delivery for the goal was first class.

It's reminding me of the 1st game of the season.

We've had the better chances with them having all the possession.

So....more of the same dogged defending or can we break and put it beyond doubt? I'd like to think we can if we can keep eleven on the pitch. Can't see Phil committing to attack while we're ahead, but....who knows. COME ON YOU WHITES.... :oyea: :oyea:

We go..Part 2. We're now playing from right to left?? We kick off, they collar it and set off. Goal kick us to start things with a wallop. Oz....Grounds now and....a throw to them....Oz, finds Noone and...he wins a throw in their half. Ok goes, Mac goes down and..get nowt. Hobbs clears now and..and.....Okolski...they have it, we sally, they clear, and some back and forth. Mac gowes, Noone and....Oz tries a header and....Noone now and...a deflected shot is cleared. Wheats and Oz swap passes and...Boggle nods it back to Carson. Williams clears for a throw.....Some scores and......and....they sally at us.....They get a free kick (mic man says a con) and.....kick goes in and.......it clears all for a goal kick.

Mic man mentions Lampard and the subs in hand for them......they sally, Boggle having a lot of ball.....we get it and.....it goes astray...and back they come. They get a fre kicj as Boggle bobbles. Samoara and.....Hobbs clears for a corner. And.....a short one and..Wilson cross, Lowe clears, back it comes, Oz clears badly....ref refuses a foul appeal from us.

Liner gives us a free kick and Mathews clears. Lawrence and Marriot replace Nugent and...Bennet as the first Derby subs. Handball from Johnson ignored..Oz and Noone and...(Bury score, oh goody) more scores that mean little to us, then........ Johnson, Wheats clears, Oz wins it and....Wilson robs Magennis. They sall again and...Lowe clears but only back to them. We clear and....Mac wins a header. Williams, Grounds, Wheats and....nobody sallying forward. Boggle again now and Samori and Mount and Marriout but Williams slides him. We go forth and....they recover it and......Marriot shoots wide.
