Free kick them, some scores intervene, Allen in and.....a shot goes wide and we have another Bollop (that's a Ben-wallop) ...Afoebi, Ince, Edwards, Woods and....we tackle but they keep possession, cross and we clear but back to them. Their finishing doesn't sound right on the mark right now. Let's hope it stays that way. Donaldson.....wins a free kick. Mic lads talk of a booking, then give more irrelevant scores. Vela sends one in.....Lowe, Grounds and....Stoke get the throw.

We could do with a goal...instead we get a visit to Bury's game. Goody. Meanwhile, back at the Unibol, McLiaine shoulders a White out. Free kick then now via Doidge.....Woods and....a long pass goes nowhere. All the purples in our half then (apparently). Throw them now and.....chat, and more chat.....Come on you Whites......Doidge getting good words as Grounds takes a big throw and.....OHHHHHHH....Butland tips a Doidge short over for a corner. And....Vela and.....we head it over via Wheats.

Butland kept us from going ahead there with a good throw. Throw us in our half. Grounds and......Vela gives a free kick away.....and...
Wheats clears, Beevers clears, Donaldson loses out and back they come. Beevers clears, then Williams gives us a free kick. Come on lads....one minute added as Wheats hits one. We have a throw....Grounds and.....Sammi, Grounds again and.....Vela hits another as the half time whistle sounds....0-0.

They sounded to have a fair bit of possesion but our lads didn't sound in much trouble? Any comment from the faithful ?

Yep. They have lots of quality in the side and it's to Rowetts shame that a squad as good as theirs isn't 5 or 6 points clear at the top.

Were doing our usual of working hard but offering little threat. Still in there though

Playing well, maintaining the shape, and made a few chances. One excellent save from Alnwick aside, Stoke haven't created any clear cut chances. They've had the majority of possession but we're certainly not being "battered".

No doubt we'll be seeing the stilt-walker sometime this half (he is on the bench is he not?) Theyr'e getting crosses in and that we don't need with him. The puple perils arrive on the greensward and neither side seems to have made changes yet. We go and....we set off like a forework and Williams almost got a corner.

Fair enough. I'm not there. Just hearing from radio Tango, Aunty Beeb, and a mate (Stoke fan  ) twittering at me from the match.
Matters not anyway. My turkey sacrifice is working... 8)

Williams cross landed on top of the net. Doidge goes now as 15,309 announced and he shoots well wide.....He's getting the good words in the mic box. They come now and visit. Some possession and they inch forward (see what I did there?) Throw to them and...some social media chat, then.....Grounds clears but Edwards comes back. Lowe clears, then Sammi and Wheater find Doidge but they clear. Sammi, they come back, Vela presasures them, Allen comes, Ben Bollops one and off we go again. Come on you Whites....!. Back they come, Wood, Allen, Edwards......Ince and.....Edwards....Grounds blocks for a throw. Grounds getting good words.......and now we have a throw. Veal getting good words too.

...and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Unfortunately on New Year I will not be (attempting) cooking, but will be at the actual match. Where, no doubt, it will be business as usual...

Williams and Lowe combine well, then a Doidge header goes over. Nice bit of stuff there. Grounds....we get a throw and he takes it.....Williamd now and.....Sammi got dragged about but they get the dive kick. Ince the villain. Ref "inconsistent" says mic man. And......now.....chat-chat-chat........the fans are sounding a bit happy.....We try, they block, Vela doing well and....ae the Potters talking change? Allen, Woods.....Sammi does well but they get it back.....Woods again, Maclaine, Edwards and.....Ben says thank you.

We sally forth again, Lowe, Wilson, Donaldson and....they get a throw and..who's getting a booking? ??? Mic lads chat of change and it's Donaldson that goes in the book as we go black-pudding hunting.

Back at the Unibol, Stoke got into our box, free kick them....dangerous area and....and.....Allen....and it's a poor one. "A Horlicks" claims mic man. Some scores we don't care about, then.....more chat and....wer have a throw near their box. Lowe sends it in and.....Sammi and....the ref gives then another soft free kick. Donaldson leaves for Josh Magennis. Playing wide?.....

Come on lads, get stuck into them. Doidge ggets fouled and Grounds...Sammi and....we come and.....Wilson and...Williams and....Mac and..Wilson slices one and Williams and...a hand ball shout is ignored. They break to nowhere as Ben steps in and pulls the wallop trigger. Back they come and....the cross misses everybody. Ref gets it wrong again and they sally again. Wheats clears, Shawcross.....and they come again and..McLiane dies hard. Josh Vela gets a yellow....does he? More scores, and.....Grounds throw, they clear.....talk of Vela leaving the fray...

Mic box chat about this and that, then Ben bowls one to Grounds. We pass a bit, then Wilson tries for Sammi. Doidge and Williams do well. Wheats and......they clear. A "great move by Bolton" ..and the crowd make noises. Campbell comes on and Cluckas? and Ince leave. Lowe, Wlson, Wheats, they head clear... Sammi now and....Grounds and....a shot goes through to Butland. They sally at us and win a corner. And......cleared twic to half way. Sammi and Vela do well, Bolton and Mac and....ohhhhhh Butland has to tip a Maggenis shot over...This is hello muddaa, hello fadda stuff.. That said, they try and flash one into black-pudding land where we go now....

We can do thios, we can. Come on lads, 13 mins left. Sammi and his right foot is only for standing on, says mic man. Crowd are lively....Potters sally, mic man give scores. A bad bit of stuff from then brings groans from their fans. And......talk of the tall one warming up. Throw us near their box now and.....some chat, then.....the ref give them a free kick for who knows what? And.....Campbell crosses, Wheats clears and.....they have a throw....

Some scores, we sally and.....and....the liner gives a wrong throw to them...again? And...Afoebit slips up, Sammi goes, Williams, Wheats, Beevers, and.....The tall -one replaces Afoebi. We go to Meadow Lane....Briefly, we hope......And....we have a free kick, we send it in and back then....Butland saves a Header from Beevers that was a class save. Throw them and talk in the mic box of a great game of football. Another throw to them and....it's a foul one by Shawcross and it's ours. And......and....Beeverrs and.....shouts of handball (in vain of course). They sally via Ateibo? and Ben steps in to save the day.

Watch that long fellow.........and Vela clears....back again and...Ben kn ocks it away and.....Maclain again and......we clear. Doidge tries a run but they get it back to Butland...Throw them well down the pitch (their side)....then....Sammi wins us a throw and.........and.........and...chat, chat, chat......mither, chat....Sammi goes, Doidge...we get a throw near their corner flag......and.....Doidge and....talk of a las minute sub. A sally by then and Campbell lashes one wide that Ben watched past the post. Only a couple of mins left and....can we do it.....?....what's this now? Free kick then with 2 left......Ben grabs the ball and the Stokies fans are not happy. And now......crunch time and.....(mention of three great saves by Butland).....And Noone and.......Lowe and...we get another throw and......and...Lowe a launcher and......and.....its a point. 0-0 and a great resulkt. 4 points from two games. That'll do. :oyea:
