The ball almost wobbles over our line, then it doesn't and Wheats and Lowe go forth. Sammi, O'Neil......some mic chat and....a throw us. Wheats, Sammi can't get forth and...that comes to naught. Lemon time approaching. Are we planning an assault this half after our defending......and then Brown bangs one home.....1-0 them.

What a disgusting goal to concede.

Jonathon fecking grounds you waste of space.

Through David Wheaters legs and past Remi Matthews.

Been coming. Same old. Capitulation coming soon.

If this is 4 or 5 to PNE then we can't complain.

We are so, so poor.

Really splendid time to go behind, four mins from the break. Grounds getting poor words and well, we're a goal behind through Dave Wheater's legs. Come on lads and...Mathews has to save again off Maguire and they have a corner. Gallagher and....they get a header in and we're sounding like Auntie Annie's knitting circle. Mac come back from offside, micl lads chat, and....we're playing uphill yet again. Grounds getting the bad words a they get a corner in the two mins extra time......Sammi wins a throw from the clearance and ......Matthews gets a wallop chance and.....Noone gets flagged offside.
Half time....0-1. "Preston in control"....how bad does that sound?

Trouble is, PP doesn't think any of this is his fault. He was on the radio earlier saying even Neil Lennon had more money to spend than him.

An honourable person would have walked away but he's holding on as he knows he might get a pay off. I personally think he's going to need it as I can't see any club taking a punt on him in the near future.

Truly awful display at home.

Never even looked like scoring. Preston haven't got out of 2nd gear. No tactic other than to hoof the ball as far up the pitch as possible, and hope that religiously holding the defensive shape will be enough to keep out the opposition.

Going down without so much as a whimper.

Young Luca is the ultimate in bad luck, but if P,P doesn't sen them out fighting he's really not seeing straight......Okay, we're struggling, no brass and loads injured, but we can still do it....COME ON.....Part Two....

Not really true though is it? Lennon brought most of his players in on frees and Twardzik at 45k was really the only outlay

Right off they sally at us, we clear via balloon headers and give it right back. Time for a chat.................................................................................................................................................................... and then....(I feel a bit sorry for Magennis and Sammi and co, because they're supposed to get some chances....Grounds gives one away for a shove in the back...that's useful....and...Gallgher....and they win a corner. Back they come and win another corner. Are they robots or something that we can't match them.....Mac heads clears, Vela loses out and they have yet another free kick.

5 mins of the second half and no change.

All Preston down our left. Corner after corner for Preston.

We might as well take Grounds off as he's a liability.

Tell you what, let's keep the ball for a bit hey.....back they come again...what possession figure for this nonesense? Mathews has a wallop, and gives it back. Oh look, another corner.....for them.. Wikson did okay, Maggenis clears then Maguire sallies again and this is really poor (and I'm only listening to it) Throw us and....and......and....in and....a goal kick gets the boos.

I'd pop Olkowski on and swap Connolly over. Can't be any worse

Not a bad idea. There is no pace at the back.

So easy for Preston.

Matthews has to spring out and clear, but back they come again and....gee, is this Bolton Wanderers. We clear, Vela loses out and back come the greens again. Maguire shoots very wide, we get a throw and (well, you know us with throws) . Tell you what, let's have a go at them and ......Mac gets a yellow....oh, goody. Off to Pudding land....
