Cometh the hour, but who will be the man? Billy Steel was always the man in the football annuals, as kids, so we had heard of Derby back in the fifties. He's long gone, and so are Nat and co, but I'm hoping he's looking down and cheering us on. Can't imagine him being too amused with the rest of it. Ah well, as ever..COME ON YOU WHITES..
:oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

(Probably be the black strip today?) A shock 2-1 win again? ae:)

Lads have had to bring their own kit today tango as we traded the away shirts for some diesel for th coach to get us to the game. None of it matches, so as a result we’ll be ‘bibs’ for the afternoon.

On your marks, get set....Bang....First throw to them and...they come to say hello. Waghorn gets first mention (we know all about him). Come on Bolton, you can join in....
Connelly playing full back today....and another throw to the homers. And...Waghorn again and....we try a break but..oh, look no support up front, that's a change. . Free kick them.

We sally forth and.....Buckley, Taylor, Williams......Sammi....Williams, and backwards then a wallop to their keeper. Some scores, Q.P.R go ahead and....Mason Mount? has a lash from half a mile away and results in two corners to them and Wheater deflects it. Waghorn dies into middlearth and we escape a pen shout. A bit of chat and....Sammi goes, Buckley.....Williams, Connely...more scores.... Ipswich one down...

Mic man talks black pudding stuff and then the homers have a corner. Goal kick despite protests.
More scores then.....Derby sally and we give them a goal kick as a friendly gesture. Come on lads, get into em....they sally, they get another shot in...and another corner. Some this and that, Wheats heads clear for their 13th corner. Donaldson gets decks by Zamora? Free kick....Reading go one up and..(that's bad news) O'Neil, Buckley and..Luca gets a decent cross in. They break again and we get a bit lucky.

The home keeper tries a wallop and....we play out of danger...temporarily. Sammi and.....Connellly...and we have a throw near their box. And....a cross, Beevers sends the crowd a view of the match ball, then...some chat and..... More scores from outer space. Mic man rambles about relegation as Reading go 2 up. Meanwhile....they sally at us, play pass the parcel and...mic man chats. Buckley now.....and they come again. Connell, Donaldson and he exhibits a touch like a J.C.B and they have a throw.

Mount sends a hello ball to Matt who says thanks....more scores, more chat and....Beevers taps one back to Matt, mic man talks Twitter.....then.....a bad cross from Buckley...then Wheats, and Donaldson sends one at the keeper. And....Mount, Cole......who moans at the ref to no avail and...mic man reckons atmosphere is poor, we win the ball and break...Hey....Mic man talks scores, then......Sammi goes offside. A launcher....no, a short ball. We win it back....Lawrence sallies, mic man pauses. Mount gets some crowd support.....no cigar. Throw them, and a goal kick us.

Mumble, mutter, chat about weather, then Waghorn hits a first-timer and Matt has to save at the expense of a corner. Waghorn again,,,,Sammi heads clear........we shovel it away. Donaldson wins a free kick and....and.....Sammi goes, they grab it, we win it back and Williams gets a free kick.
And....some chat about social media..sigh....and...O'Neil and....Connell back and....they clear and come forth. Another shot from Lawrence has to be saved. Have we had a shot yet? 0ne header from Donaldson and..?????

Cole....they win a throw.....Sammi gives one away and the crowd cheer (ironically, mic man says) And.....they send one in, we clear and....Wilson does well and...Cole and....Lawrence...Mount....and another corner (29th?) Short and Waghorn gets another one in and..another corner. They come again and another shot and...a handball sqeal and....nowt. Cole again and....Mount and...Cole and....we clear...

More scores (who cares about Tranmere?) Some Gene Krupa drummer boy wallops away in the home crowd and the world continues to turn. And...mic man says it's cold. Wheats clears, more scores. And....the homers attack again and.....they shoot, we block....and.....it's 1-0 to them

Dreadful game.

If anybody wants to see a demoralisation then look at our team today.

Not worth the hassle.

Face uphill boys and march forth.Once more unto the breech dear friends.....and all that. Mic man acts unsurprised and the crowd chant on.....Chat, scores, more chat, mic man seems determined to see us down and dusted.... chats about this and that, then a bit more about supporters from upside down land, and Waghorn tries again. (he's getting far too much of the ball) . Mic man can't tell his Championship from his League One. More chat about things that matter not, then reveals his true (Bury) colours. Lemon time approaches in familiar fashion (us losing) and Keogh sallies and Mount lashes one past Matt's post. Goal kick us and...Beavers heads clear.....Donaldson gives one away.

And Alfie and me, we have a cup of tea and.....Right says Phil......1-0 to the homers, no, make that 2-0. Waghorn and Lawrence kick us right in the black puddings to mic man's apparent delight.

I really do wonder what would have happened if Phil Parkinson was put on gardening leave months ago. I am not having that this shit hand he's been dealt deserves the constant defensive tactics.

You know that script that isn't written in football? I think they've just signed ours off for a series of 24 episodes. We're as predictable as an Australian soap opera.

I watch with wonder to see if Phil will try for a record and reveal a third cheek? We've already had two slapped our lack of fight is embarrassing. Losing a fight is no shame, but the emphasis is on "fight". Part two looks a bit "Second verse, same as first" Make man starts us off with some chat about Bury, then......

"Two-nil they lead".... and...he starts us off with....The battle commences...Waghorn, and they have a corner just for a change. Lawrence and....Wilson and Mount and.....we have a goal kick.
"Into the valley of death" and all that lads, come on....fight....! (Mic man is pxssing me off) Throw them, they come and....mic man complains it's freezing. Tell you what, let's shock em and score three? Hows about that?

Connell, silence in the mic box, then a free kick to us. In and....out and here come Waghorn. They come forth again and.....Waghorn gets another chance and....Mount goes wide. Let's all cheer, Bury have scored.
