Fck me I thought Lincoln was nearer than an hour 20!
So did me and my mates when we all piled into the back of a Transit van circa 84 and arrived there at half time :)

For the record, Derby isn't in Lincolnshire. For the further record, living north and west of Derby, whilst being domiciled in Derbyshire, I can quite categorically tell you that Lincoln is over an hour and a half from me, and I'm at least an hour and a half from you.
(As my missus quite often laments: "everywhere's three fxcking hours away...").

Never mind eh?
We are still not mathematically relegated. In fact if we win our next game 28-0 we could still leapfrog Reading and end up 19th.

There’s me thinking the M180 was of use to Lincolnshire!

If you want to cheer her up then tell her for some of us it's at least 3 hours to the nearest place and 5 hours to the next nearest

For the record - nobody has suggested Derby is in Lincolnshire. We're talking about the time it takes to get from Bolton to Lincoln, the county town of Lincolnshire.

Yep - cos we’ll be playing there next season after they ere promoted (apologies for stating the obvious)! I was hoping it was a ‘near’ away game for me.

Speaking of long journeys, I passed a few Norwich coaches on the M62 at 7.30 this morning near Castelford as I was on my way to work. They’ve got a noon kick off at Wigan and I reckon they probably set off at 3.30am!

Was saying on Tuesday neet that with Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough all having been in different divisions this year, none of them had anything that could by any stretch be classed as a local away game.

I hope they win 1. because I like watching them, and 2. because of who they're playing, but also 3. because one of their lot has travelled all that way dressed as a canary. Imagine doing that and getting beat!
