Just watched a short version of the Bassini interview on SSN.

All I can say is OMFG.

Looked either drunk, stoned, or very over emotional, or possibly all three. He was waiving a BWFC shirt around.

He said he will get the game on, but at the same time said he doesn't have control. Appeared to blame Ken, but wasn't particularly coherent.

Anyone else see it? I am finding it hard to put into words...

I know what you mean. I'm struggling to comprehend what I've just seen.

Iles says he's spoken to Bassini. Major sticking point with the deal is that Kenny wants to stay on as a director ....

As I have been saying all along. Bassini is just a vehicle for no questions to be asked about Ken's dealings, and possibly for them to continue. I hope all involved with the club come out in the media and tell everything they have experienced under Ken's ownership.

We need to go into admin and get rid of Ken once and for all. Michael James and Moonshift need to come to our rescue desperately...

"Vehicle for no questions to be asked about Ken's dealings, and possibly for them to continue".

Bassini is the front man, Dave Richards supplies some finance using far eastern contacts, Ken stays on as director, Paul Aldridge as facilitator/smooth overer. No one looks at the past dealings between Inner Circle and factoring companies, nor how the clubs' income is handled in the future. Maybe a job for Lee in there too.

Hard to tell whether he's telling the truth or not. Make your own minds up on that one.

I believe he's keen on getting the game on, in one form or another based upon that interview. Whether or not that is going to involve our current playing squad or not is a different matter.

I have heard this before. Apart from touching his face or nose, Bassini was every one of them. Lied all the way through.

The game not being played is a total disgrace, an insult to our club.

I can't blame the players. The way it is going they face the prospect of losing four months pay. I am sure there are countless shocking incidents we don't know about, and we already know about far too many.

I only hope if any positive can come from it, it might give to those who can, an extra motivation to remove all traces of KA, and Bassini from our club. Put into admin and let Football Ventures have it. At least they might try to run the club honestly and at least pay the bills and provide an ounce of stability.

As far as apportioning the blame goes, Bassini is well down the list for me. This is all on KA.
