Can we assume the ones who aren’t playing aren’t planning on sticking around?
Reckon so, although there were a couple "injured"... Looked like Wheats posted m'off yesterday.

Saw Earing at Crewe last season. Looked a tidy player. No Connell - should we be worried?

Connell will go I think - sad thing is he will leave under admin for nowt and we won’t benefit at all.

Alnwick is another obvious absentee. Better keeper than Remi IMO, would be another loss.

Ameobi and Murphy - both contracted next season, supposedly.

Olkowski gone, Marc Wilson surely won’t be kept...

I'm just about to get on a plane for a week away. No WiFi at the accommodation so I'm likely to miss today's result and the more important one on Wednesday.

C'mon lads. 1 last effort today. Let's go down with a win

Just have to fantasize, pretend we're mid-season and mid-table and we've never heard of these club-ruining wanna-be owners. Sorry not to see Sammi, Wheats and Beevers in the side, but hey ho, all is not lost just yet.... ae:) Mic man not sounding over-confident....why? Away we go.....Home fans singing Mull of Kintyre....hmm. :oyea:

Mic man having a memory lane ramble about Cloughie etc, then mentioning a sell out crowd. In a minute he might talk about the game. Ah, Maggenis gets a mention along with "walking pace" comment. We'll get to it shortly.....Cabbages and Kings stuff right now but we may hear football mentioned shortly.

Mac gets another mention and we actually reach the half way line. Mic man already waffling about Bury, then Mac has a go at winning a header. ( remembers a few last game memories, Brum and Flipper-man etc) ...then they have a free kick forty out. Lolly and Cavalho get mention, Grabban sallies at us and.....Hobbs has to clear one off the line...

We don't seem to be the dominant side so far, but early doors. We have scores, chat and talk of everybody but the Whites...oh, hey up, we have it, lose it and back they come, kindly giving us a throw. The Tower chat show rambles on, then......Buckley and Noone cause a bit of a flutter but the homers clear. Exciting start....I think. We clear from Cavalho and wallop forth.....

Sealing wax and string and stuff, then scores and chat about general football. Meanwhile, this game goes on and Noone and Buckley get more mentions and Mac has a shot from far out that makes the keeper save. A flurry and we have a goal kick. Mither about Leagues and yesterday's results, then......Right said Fred.....and we sally but Buckley robbed and a White on the grass.

Media stuff, chat and this and that, we'll get to our game shortly, promise. Some scores, some names from the mist, then.....more stuff and the game recommences. The excitement is unbearable as mic man discusses Forest and Grounds assaults Lolley. And.....some more scores, then.....wait for it....and....ah, thought mic man had nodded off but he's back with more scores. I can hardly bear the tension....

Some talk of Alexander and some of Hercules.....then Lolley sallies and gets a shot in and...Matt catches it. whew.....more scores....then.....more chat. A man out of work is mic man. I actually just yawned and I'm many miles away. Down in the forest, something stirred. Noone sprints, we lose it, win it and....Taylor scores a hit on a defender's (Lolley's) face. We get Blackburn score.

1-0 down. Andy Taylor air-clearance allows Lolley to score at last.
