He's only 33

Knocking about in Verona. Surely we can tempt him away from that shit-hole.

Might sound a bit insensitive and I feel for them massively but there might be a few Bury players looking for a new club...

Just thinking the same, wonder if we'll take a few on loan to ease their wage bill?

Could help them in the long run. I suppose FV will want players on their own terms so probably unlikely.

Yeah. Apart from the Arena, Juliet's house, her tomb and the Giusti Gardens, what does Verona have that Bolton doesn't? Come home lad!

My mucca got hitched at Juliet's gaff. I couldn't stop laughing at the coachloads of Nips dashing about taking photos of anything and everything.

We stayed in a hotel basically in there. Out the window you could see the lines of Yanks queuing up to look at a fictional balcony. It doesn't even look old. Looks like they've taken it from Buckshaw Village.

SIL was married at Juliet's tomb the day after my birthday in July 2006. One of my presents was an Italy football t-shirt. The pedant in me couldn't resist telling her that it was out of date, as there should be 4 world cup stars, rather than 3!

Anyone interested in me doing a scouting type thread of loans/free agents like a couple of years back? Don't want to unecessarily start another transfer type thread if you want info all in the same place.

These wouldn't be transfer rumour more who I think we could reasonable go for? Thoughts, opinions?
Pfffft.

What do we need?
Full backs - left back is a definite (assuming the lad from Preston isn’t back anytime soon). Brockbank at right back will hopefully come on with some more experienced heads.
Centre half - Hobbs plus Edwards/Zouma. A more experienced stronger centre half would be welcome I think.
We need some muscle in midfield - Lowe/Murphy should be reasonable at this level but we would benefit from some pace and strength in there I think.
Creativity - absolute must. APolotic and Darcy have talent but as part of a squad not the main men. Couple of wingers please and if possible someone who can pick a pass from midfield (Oztumer replacement).
Centre forwards - absolute must!!!

Injured. Never formally announced it but will never be able to play again. Heard he's not been in a good way - which is why its never been announced. Feel for him.

Twitterers suggesting Jem Karacan is at the training ground. Would be happy with that. New start, different manager.

I never really decided what kind of midfielder Jem Karacan was. Not convinced he’s the creative spark we need - but he’s a step up from what we have!

If he was a boxer he would be bantamweight. I reckon he could do a job but needs to get stuck in.
