So the Brentford postponed game, when is there going to be a further announcement on that ?
Further points deduction ?
Over and done with. No further pronouncements necessary. Final league table published. I doubt there will be any points deduction but could be wrong on that point [sic]. Forget Brentford, it's history.

Surely the failure to complete our fixtures means a punishment for last season not this coming one?
It'll be a points deduction for this coming season on top of the -12 we're starting with. Well, I think so anyway. Spotty is convinced we're not getting a deduction for the Brentford postponement.

You may be right, I have no idea. I just think if we had stayed up by one point, any deduction should apply to last season. The fact we were relegated anyway probably means we get another kicking for this coming one.

I hope Spotty is right.

I'm always right. Sometimes I'm wrong. But on those occasions I should have been right... 8)

All quiet on the north western front...
(Administrators fail to confirm any bids whatsoever. Even from dickheads like Bassini. Iles and Nixon reluctantly concede they've no fxcking idea either...)

Of course it might just be because the administrators have been flooded by last minute offers from Elon Musk, Roscom, et al ...So much so that it will take them weeks to wade through the offers and seperate the wheat from the chaff.

That, or they're embarrassed to tell us there is nothing to tell us!

Or, there really are five quality offers in and they are doing concrete diligence before they announce our new properly constituted legit affluent wealthy owners.

Apparently according to Mr Iles a briefing is due soon and the administrators sound positive.

A further update from Iles: six bidders are currently under consideration. A decision on who is best placed to take over will be made next Friday.

One assumes from that that the admins have the final say on ownership.

Even allowing for one being Bassini; 5 proper bids is decent!

Well, I am surprised. I know that it feels a long time for us fans/supporters/faithful, but it seems to me that the administrators are actually rattling along under full steam. If they are already at the stage of isolating prospective purchasers of the club then they must have done a decent forensic investigation of the club's financial situation whilst at the same time doing the same for each and every bidder. Given the time frame that's no mean feat.

At the moment I have everything crossed, even though my loins are aching terribly.

The thought occurs Dujon, that it's all such a mess that they may well want it out of the way as quick as possible. Still seems hard to realise that this is Bolton Wanderers. We've always had somebody local and influential in the background in the past. Right now in this "Flog it" auction, it's all a bit like selling a thoroughbred racehorse to the milkman. I can't see investors racing to the bank to be honest, given recent history....que sera and keep hoping.. :oyea:

Yeh, coz we've alllllll been well served over the last few years, haven't we?
I think a little pessimism is healthy compared to a let's all clap hands and celebrate attitude. You can be my ray of sunshine if you want. You can pop from behind the clouds next Friday. If it's not pissing down.
