I think you're gonna need a bigger fridge to hold more cider next season...and maybe some cats to kick.

You and anybody else can post what you want. But he has, is, and always will be a deluded wanker.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 5:33 pmIf memory serves, Nixon was the first one to mention (that I saw) that Bassini was interested in trying to buy us for £1.50 and a couple of penny chews. It's given me some entertainment if only to see him appear on Jim White. Irregardless of him being a moron, we can't get round the fact he's been involved, nor that at one point, he was in sole negotiations, even if none of his bids (from the outside) looked likely.bristol_Wanderer3 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 4:58 pmBassini is useful to the ailing print media, because he is an established moron who scares people that he might be serious and thus gets people clicking/downloading BEN/The Sun material they otherwise wouldn't. Nixon and to a lesser degree Iles should do some verification when Bassini gets on the phone and spouts what is almost certainly nonsense, but I suspect they spew it on twitter straight away because it makes money.
Bassini is useful to Ken, because he is a useful idiot who throws spanners in the works, causes confusion and frustration whilst delaying an outcome where the club can move forward, assuming of course that Ken might not want the best for BWFC. The confusion/frustration might also distract from and delay any potential investigation of the mysterious hidden debt.
Bassini gets free tickets to the directors box for a couple of games, gets media time, even gets pretty admin girls to smile at him. He has never proven he has a penny. Beats being taken to court over unpaid rent, or presumably whatever other activities he might be getting up to.
Bassini is following a not uncommon model, currently utilised by people in much more important positions in this world, where being a failed moron with little shame who allegedly has money can create an industry all by himself.
Bassini should now feck off and let a famous old football club get on with the business of football again.
We could pretend that none of this has occurred of course. But it has and that's reason enough for me, that people post about it on a BWFC forum.
Some of us point this out.
Others of us lap up the shite that Al Nixon posts.
That's not a leopard!

I'm fairly sure you've made your position regarding Nixon, Bassini and BWFCi quite plain, over the odd post here and there.
It looks like we have to do internet binary again. Either you have to go with "he's a deluded wanker" or "you're lapping up the shite that he posts". I follow his Twitter, some things I think have credence others I'm rather more dubious about.

Re: Administration and recovery
But it doesn't have to be All internet binary, though, does it. It was fairly obvious to the grey squirrels in my back garden that Bassini was talking out of his arse more than two months ago. At that point we really really really didn't need any more input from him, whether it was through his gob or Nixon's.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 6:37 pmI'm fairly sure you've made your position regarding Nixon, Bassini and BWFCi quite plain, over the odd post here and there.

Nixon may well in future have interesting, new, and/or exclusive news to bring us. But Bassini is the biggest Pillock on the planet... That's not internet binary, that's a fact.

It's an internet forum. There's bound to be a fair amount of shite posted on it, whether we/you/I* want it posting or not. That is also a fact, irrespective of what your grey squirrels might think is obvious!Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 7:00 pmBut it doesn't have to be All internet binary, though, does it. The notion that he said he might issue an injunction of some description against Anderson, I fine quite amusing, irrespective of whether it occurs or not. I just wish Anderson had taken to the press to hit straight back for all the world to see. Like two 8 year olds arguing in the playground.

Re: Administration and recovery
I've just put the album on on the back of this exchange. Why don't I listen to it every day? Perhaps I should.

I once drove to Madrid and it was the only cassette I had in the car. My kids can't stand hearing it to this day.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 9:19 pmI've just put the album on on the back of this exchange. Why don't I listen to it every day? Perhaps I should.
Cracking album though.

Badum-tish.
Really enjoyed "et Al" too.
I'm not worried hell end up in charge. I'm a little (not a lot) worried he could slow it down.

Re: Administration and recovery
Say's Nixon. Hasn't he made a big enough cock of himself over the past few days already? I'm not saying that he's wrong, entirely, but he's not a source I'd quote.

Re: Administration and recovery
Astonishing if true, it has to be some kind of a wind up ?
Surely FV know that this will completely piss fans off from day one, we need a fresh start to give fans hope not more of last seasons shite, I think that crowds will seriously dwindle much further if this the case.
Doesn't make sense to me, why would FV even consider this they may as well have given there funds to charity - in my opinion most Bolton fans will not support FV if they retain Parkinson - its football suicide.
Re: Administration and recovery
Is that the same Phil Parkinson that got BWFC promoted from League One at the first attempt

The same one who starts next season with 7 players and minus 12 points. He's being set up as the fall guy.
