Can we all agree that we are fxcked for the new season?
In which case, despite all the negatives, it is sensible to ditch Parkinson and start afresh. In fact it is imperative.

Relegated, minus 12 points, no players, no money = Brexit. Allow Parky (Teresa May) to sort it. Fails miserably. New manager (new PM) emerges to save the day and take us back to former glories. Oh, wait .... it's not going to work out like that, is it?

It'll be interesting to see how Bury get on. They're in a higher division, losing players left right and centre and had to abandon the first days pre season training due to having no insurance. It's a huge task for their new inexperienced manager.

Here's hoping they crash and burn whilst giving us 6 points.
I was thinking it might be slightly better if someone else is more fecked than us. Then remembered that we didn't even finish bottom last season.

After what we've had since last season ended, anything is a bonus. At least we still have a club albeit a diminished force. Not quite back to jumpers for goalposts, but thereabouts.. :)

A 'significant breakthrough' reported by Iles this morning. Good news expected in a few days apparently (48 hours?). Race will be on then to get some players in.

Significant breakthrough and a new football ventures company registered at company house for the hotel. You don’t have to be a genius to work it out. Shame a lot of the people commenting on the BN website are f*cktards!

The issues are with creditor agreements nothing to do with the hotel.

Do tell.
In my simple head it was Ken’s use of a separate administration team on the hotel / ken being a pain.

I mean the hotel has been an issue throughout. But the past week has been about creditors quibbling on agreements. I don’t know which ones but wouldn’t take a genius to work our first letter K last letter N would it?

Though Nixon saying EDT unhappy - I suspect again that pressure being applied to them from a local landowner who has stirred the pot.

Well, I've been told it is still to do with D, who is guaranteeing C's wedge, who has financed B, who is partially supplying A with the money, is actually 1/3 of A.
So there.

And it still is a deal breaker unless somebody else can be found with four million quid in liquid funds available, to sign on a dotted line.

Thanks for that well informed summary, LLS. I have been confused where we are at the moment until your post.
