Can't do any of that BR, we're on rain alert. Whaley Bridge has been evacuated and if the Dam does bust then my road is in the firing line

I think you'd have to be pretty slow/giddy to think we weren't heading for a more austere future. We've just being running up catastrophic losses for the past 3 years and the folks coming in have been coppering up for weeks to see if they can afford it. I'm fine with that!

Far fewer bankrolling chairmen down here. Our average attendance will be comfortably top 6 and double half the league. Even within our means we'll eventually get it right down here. Might take a few years mind.
