Thank feck we're finally in the end game, bored of this bollox now.
This time next year we'll be top of the league two relegation places laughing about all this.
I’d take that right now. This is a bad place. I’d say we are at far greater risk than Bury, as things stand.

I was fairly certain of that up until this latest twist. Ken previously seemed keen on the deal. Now it’s a real problem. The one man who I think might be prepared to sink the club has the power to do so. And it’s public knowledge.

If it's all as close as they're suggesting they need to lock the participants into the same room and not let them out until it's done... Is what they do with us at work.
Not all in same country! Let alone room. And I think the substantial issue is everyone agrees deal. Paperwork prepared signed. But then someone working in background finds a reason to delay. Then something crops up deal has to change. And on and on and on....
They get us all in the same country using something called "flight".

I can't wait 'til Halloween has been and gone. I'm ready to vote 2019 the shittiest year of the twenty first century.
Apparently 5pm for Bury.

Can't help you on the lass with the bike-lock, bless her.
Cheers DSB. I'm about to head Arctic circle-wise (just a little bit north and east of our former desert dweller AT) with little to no worldwidewebinterconnectivityness. Eight days with sparse communication with the rest of the Universe, either a blessing or a curse.
Here's fingers crossed.
Bring yer wellies, or even better some flippers
I'll be importing some sunshine for yers... :D (Layover in the Lake District tomorrow, sunshine and perfection from Saturday...)
Sunshine he says. Can't see further than 10 yards and it isn't because I'm squinting in the sun :whack:

Mix money in and the priority isn't kicking a ball any more. It's why we cling to memories of jumpers for goalposts and stuff so longingly. Seeing the half-time scores go up outside the wooden shack under the floodlights on Burnden terrace end is a lifetime ago, but nothing today can compare with it. This shyster lot have no interest in football.

I haven’t said it publicly. Because a) I’ve been asked not to and b) it simply isn’t worth it.

And as a poster on here has said to me the deal is about saving the club. Not about scoring internet points.

So, Ken can sink the deal! That'll be only because the 'deal' (the only one on the table, apart from somebody who thinks he's got thirty million quid at his beck and call) is so piss poor that not even the secured creditors can get the full pound in the pound.

No fxcking wonder the High Court is seeing Perfections left right and centre.

Listen, I know you think you are in the know, but if a secured creditor can sink an Administration deal, then the Administrators really do need to look out for future litigation (against them) because if the secured creditors can't get their money back then liquidation would be the obvious route they should take.

Yeah, yeah, Paul Appleton is a saint, blahdy blah blah...

Has Shazza gone on holiday yet?

How's Laurence's cat's paw, has it healed yet?

Is Debbie still up for that threesome you arranged on Tuesday, only I need to book train tickets?

At no point have I said FV are coming with huge pots of cash.

The fact is as you point out that FV are currently the only ones at the table. And they offer a better deal than liquidation for secured creditors. Which currently is the alternative. And a deal that has been agreed three times then reneged on.

If secured creditors don’t like it they should just stop messing around and say no instead of spending weeks setting it up then at the last second blowing it down.

As a fan I really couldn’t care less what a bloke who put us in the position through utter shithousery gets a settlement. In fact if he was completely shafted and it cost him money that’s a win. What I do care about is the club surviving. But hey I’m clearly weird like that....
