You and I know the truth of it and that's good enough for me.

Your litigious manner is more akin to Lawrence than Ken but I'll bask in my own glory, safe in the knowledge that right is on my side.

...and the age jibe... ...it doesn't even scratch the surface.

Sorry. I've always had this mix up since childhood Sunday School - Enoch, Methuselah, or is it Noah, Enoch.?

The longest lived among a crowd of very long lived folk, Methuselah was the grandfather of Noah and the son of Enoch. Who, if you know your Old Testament, never died but ascended alive to sit at Yahweh's side.

Pavel Nedveds? He retired 10 years ago!

I know he was blonde, but I don't think he's grown breasts and a rucksack.

Put me down as another "Not before 15:00 on Saturday". At least for an official, definitive announcement anyway.
Me too.
Oops just seen I'm not allowed.
Monday 6pm
This was my more accurate prediction on Wednesday I'd like to remind you all.

Apparently guesses like "not before Easter 1908" are perfectly acceptable. Not that I'm bitter.

You're a winner. Soak up the adulation. 8)

The £internet pounds unfortunately seem to have been transferred into a Nigerian bank account - we are doing our best to investigate this and will post the amount owed to you once we've gotten to the bottom of this.....

Far as I know that simply means the admins report and plan of action has been approved by creditors. It essentially is a process of accountability for administrators conduct and fees they claim. No more than that.

But that is my rudimentary understanding. Don't think it has significance sadly.

PHIL Parkinson says he has had assurances from potential new owners at Wanderers that a deal to buy the club will be completely swiftly.

SWIFTLY
/ˈswɪftli/
adverb (as employed by Football Ventures)

at poor speed; slowly
"she got up and signed swiftly on the dotted line"
synonyms: at a snail's pace, treackly, slowly,
antonyms: rapidly, quickly, fast, speedily, briskly, at high speed, at full tilt, like the wind, like lightning, at breakneck speed, as fast as one's legs can carry one, as swift as an arrow.

with much delay; after a very long time.
"they acted swiftly in response to the media interest"
synonyms: lagging, lacking, not there, in a month of Sundays, never, you must be fxcking joking.
antonyms: promptly, immediately, instantly, instantaneously, without delay, post-haste, in a flash, in a trice, in the wink of an eye, in an instant, in no time (at all).

Is "swiftly" faster than "imminently"? What's next? "Momentarily", "immediately", "really really soon"?
