Doesn't the grass look lovely?
The rugby next week will ruin it. How can ozzy be expected to do his thing when it’s been ploughed to bits by 2 games of rugby league next weekend?
I don't think it'll be bad enough to affect the seats in the main stand... :D

Looking forward to the traditional pre-season friendlies against Preston (a nice lower league oppo for the first team) and Chorley (a team a million leagues below us making a nice oppo for the kids).

Am I doing this right?

It will be good to catch a glimpse of the new international signings given the new recruitment policy.

The cynics seem to scoff at reliance on Bolton School's foreign exchange program rather than Bundesliga2 / La Liga2...

Having been on that French exchange I can tell you that the schoolchildren of Moulins, France, are *bobbins* at football.

But we were a prem team then tbf, might do a job in League 1.

Looks like magennis and oztumer might be on their way. Hopefully gives us a bit of money to spend. Can’t wait to see who we bring in to replace them.

Also, does anyone know if Chelsea still owe us that loan from the Cahill deal? Might come in handy this season.

Another two useful players (in this league) escaping the net. This is surely the biggest fxck up since Bill Ridding asked Alan Ball if he'd considered being a jockey. Who exactly is going to come here seeing our methods and knowing we have to get 12 points before we can even put the egg on the spoon. Magennises, Otumer and Dave Wheater were our vague hope. What now?

What, you really think admin will have missed that one? It'll be in H.M.R.C' s bank already if Ken hasn't spent it. .

Everything’s fine Tango. All normal on this thread. Not sure I even know who this ‘Ken’ is that you speak of.

Anyway. Season starts 2 weeks today. Promises to be the most exciting for a long time with the team packed with youngsters and a lot of the ageing journeymen having departed. We’ve a manager with a great record in the division in his 4th season at the club so should be really making his mark now. What could be better?

I drove past Eland Rd on the way to work this morning. They’ve dug the car park up! It looks a right state. Not sure it’ll be ready for the start of the season. What a joke club! Can’t believe how unprepared they are.
