Sunderland bring on Max Power, Hill responds by putting Buckley on that wing.

All Sunderland at the minute.

Going to be a hellish 12 minutes + injury time.

Bolton with the long ball, comes off Buckley through to Verlinden who shoots, deflected wide for a corner,

Corner played short to Verlinden who knocks it out of play.

What a fecking save Remi Matthews.

McGeady with a curling shot to the far post, reaches with the save round the post.

Remi with another terrific save as Sunderland shoot to the far right and again Matthews with a left hand save over the bar.

Absolutely world class keeping.

Buckley win a free kick on the edge of Sunderland's box. Ball is held up top by Emmanuelle. Sunderland win the throw in.

Luke Murphy on for Verlinden.

1 minute + injury time.

Gut-punch of a way to drop two points, but then, a week ago, who'd have expected us to drop two points in injury time?

Sounds like we played well, the fans were behind us and we'll be alright. Just wondering what league...

One thing I've noticed is Bridcutt likes a punt up top. A fair few have been well far of the target.

Buckley could have had a strike but passes it sideways behind Politic.

Finished 1-1

But for a handball we'd have had the 3 points. Sunderland are a good side and they couldn't score against us from open play.

Stinging but still as Hill says. Building blocks.

We are going to stay up playing like this. Absolutely 100% proud of this side.

Has to be a positive point, although our pre luck is unbelievable for losing games in extra time. Have to be happy with a point from a game that everybody had us losing....Well done the lads..... :oyea:

Just going to put it out there. We only concede when Luke Murphy is playing.
