Shame Bridcutt had to go off though he wasn't having the best game (showing for the ball is enough for the sky commentators, even if you keep giving it away). But he's a class act who was making us tick. Going to have to go a bit more direct (relatively) without him, though mightn't be a bad thing.
I think they just base it on his reputation. He wasn't playing that well I thought. Honestly think they're lazy and just go off previous write ups.
Hope he's not out for long, cracking signing really.

Come on you strikers, get the net found. Zouma gets the good words....mic man chats. They come and win a free kick just outside the box. Feeney to take and....In and headed out, Spearing shoots wide. Twenty to go.....Addick wallops and...Mondulay clips something near Horwich Parkway (I think) Fee ney sallies, we clear, they come back and...Emanuel gets a throw. And.....mic man talks treasonasly about losing, then....

Mat wallops, Hobbs chases, Lowe...no, Murphy and Momdulay clears. Graham triesa, Murphy almost pulls it off and a great bit of defending saves them. Crawford and...we get a corner.....Come on ....come on....Crawford and.....and ref gives them a free kick.

We don't sound like the poor relation tonight....Come on....Guy for them, Virtue and...they have a corner. And...Matt punches clear. Throw them , Matt clears....Hobbs goes forth and....Crawford and.....they clear, goal kick us.....11 to go...Come on.....

Lowe now....and we havwe another corner..Mondulay heads out....and they clear as we don't get a handball shout. Feeney now wins a corner but no cigars for that. Matt wallops and..they come back...Feeney tries, we clear and.....Murphy ...and they clear...they come via Spearing and....again and a tangerine abuses the turk. Graham and...Emanuel and....Murphy's effort cleared. We don't get an appealed corner and....a goal kick them. Last sally time....

Chat, chat, five to go.....Zouma crosses wide and they have a quick throw. Wallop...Spearing sets Feeney off but we hack clear. Four to go and mic man talks treason and .....the ref gives them a disputed corner. Feeney again...and another corner....we need a clear and break....and score....and another corner. Three in a minute. Feeney again and clreared by Zouma....Crawford tries.....Zouma loses out but the line wins it foe us. Matt now (somebody has a head injury?) I min plus to go....Throw us and.....and...Emanuel, Lowe, Murphy.....they clear...Lowe, Crawford....Graham and.....three mins added. Can we do it....can we....? We try, they clear.....they wallop...we get the throw..Crawford, Zouma....back and Hobbs and....Chat and...talk of points and.....Feeney tries a cross, Emanuel clears....and that';s it. 0-0 and another point...Buenos noches....

Nowtapieceagain.

Curious how more attacking manager has had a notable tightening-up effect.

Still waiting for the sharp end to start functioning properly.

Fine effort. We've got a good defence, all of them played well. Pleased for Zouma after a shaky period. Attacking-wise many teams will find Blackpool tough to beat. We will get better up front and Dodoo will make a difference.

Ref was a dick in the 2nd half.
Absolutely battered them in parts. Their defenders will be thinking what the feck happened there.
Jay Spearing can feck off aswell, prick. Trying to get Verlinden sent off early in the second half is a shit house move.
Could easily have beaten them by 1 or 2.
Darryl Murphy. When fit is going to be a real hand full.
Complete team performance without the reward of a goal however it's a very good clean sheet.

Good that. If we can get a win, we could go on a run. Dodoo could be useful, a good variation on our other wingers, he looks more direct if likely to be often inaccurate.

Zouma, Chicksen, Hobbs, Lowe, Crawford all look good. Murphy looks like he can score. Optimism here...

Bridcutt injury is probably going to be a dislocated rib or something rediculous as is the luck we have.
Just a fractured collarbone. Ffs.

2 months if so, apparently.

And Buckley hairline fractured kneecap. Just what we need!

Another positive performance and another good game of football. Back 4, individually and collectively were excellent. Terrible news about the injury yet it was testament to Graham that the teams performance didn't dip when Bridcutt went off.

That win must surely come soon

Sad news re Bridcutt. Big chance for Sonny. I think Hill will trust him rather than Weir or Luke Murphy. We will miss Bridcutt but it might make us less predictable. Iles notes we played higher up the pitch without him.

Can't agree DJ, thought it was two good defences against two weak attacks, no battering either way. Murphy looked well off the pace, but hope that's lack of match fitness rather than just being past it. Was better 2nd half though, so that's encouraging. If he gets properly fit and Dodoo and verlinden support, we could start causing problems. Not impressed with Politic tonight, could do with Buckley back asap to have options.

The high press is paying dividends. Watching us without the ball is almost as good as it is with.

Ali Crawford has one engine in him,so too Jason Lowe.

Sonny Graham ran his socks off in the middle. Didn't really panic when Bridcutt went off as Lowe can drop in and Graham can fit in easily.

Imagine how decent we're going to be with a fully fit side.

Meanwhile, here's a quiz for you. Can you name the last Wanderers to host the Tangerines in the league? I'll be impressed if you can.

https://www.sporcle.com/games/GaryParki ... -blackpool
A pathetic 9/18

2 players in that starting XI I've never heard of let alone see play football!

Can we have some more of these DSB? Please?
