Looks like we'll have another great following tomorrow (but, sadly, not me). Sold out the initial allocation of 1,100; currently, on 1,572. No pay on the day.

Funnily enough I can remember us playing Lincoln in the fa cup in the early 90s (the run that included the Oldham quarter final) but 2010? Narrr. Assuming it was post megson given the interim manager.

Regardless of the clean sheet last game, if Wright's back and fit, he has to play. He'll only make the back four stronger and, as has been said, Earl and Zouma were let off early on last time anyway.

Sounds like Wright is not being risked. I reckon we’ll get him for the season in Jan in any case. So let’s not break him!

Like others, I remember the FA cup game in the early 90s but not the most recent one!
Anyway, presuming the game is on tomorrow (don't know what the weather has been like down there but it's lashing it down for the next 24 hours here), I reckon we can get a win here, definitely.

Blimey. Can't believe that I'd completely forgotten about Bob Bollock

Rather looking forward to it, which is nice

I feel more confident about Lincoln now the Murphys know the Nettysburg Address.

A pitch inspection is to take place. Apparently, there's been "significant rainfall overnight and more expected throughout the afternoon".
It sounds a bit doubtful.

Thought it would. Got a message from my daughter saying don't risk travelling as it's been torrential overnight.

Have we checked if Doncaster are ok with this before postponing?

Donny have had their own game postponed - at Tranmere... it’s like a very small cast of characters ...
Thankfully me and Flanners had only got to Luton
Guess it could be reorganised for Bonfire Night (Lincoln have a game on Nov 12, Nov 19 will he kept clear for FA Cup games) or we could wait and see if we both lose in the FA Cup. Whatever, we will hopefully have more players fit...

Some great results in favour of us today.
All teams in the bottom 6 that played all lost.

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 26/10/19
Apart from the Wombles' little purple patch when yon mon they've borrowed from Brentford (until January and that's it, hopefully) kept scoring, they're all doing badly. Not many wins so they're all still averaging less than 1ppg, which would mean a final total of 44 - which would mean we need 49 points from 32 games. Well, we've got nine games left against that lot for a start, so if we win all those that's 27 points. We've also got two or three games in hand on them. Add in a bit of momentum and... oh go on, dare to dream, it's Saturday night.
Out it another way: we're 18 points behind MK Dons but we have three games in hand on them and if we beat them home and away, we're only three points behind them. Considering they've got one point and one goal in their last eight league games...
Are you gonna believe us?

Like I said on the 19/20 thread - after the Cup game against Plymouth there's a run of games going up to Christmas (McDons H, Accy A, Wombles H, Peterborough A, Southend H) where we might fancy picking up points. Lincoln, who are just above that rabble, might be reorganised for then too. Get a bit of momentum and suddenly Hill and Flicker are having very different conversations with potential signings: "D'yer wanna be a legend?"
Still dreaming. Still can't stop me.
