In contrast to the Southend game, that was easily up there as our best first 45 of the season. We counter attacked really well, looked dangerous on each attack and coped with the little that came our way.

2nd half, we played our self into difficulty a few times and Verlinden going off, meant we looked more solid but offered much less threat going forward. Last 5 minutes we were hanging on a bit but we got the point we deserved thanks to Matthew's and others throwing themselves at everything.

Not quite.

As 2019 we were above the dots on goal difference. Later on New Year's Day we sorted that out good and proper with that really quite stupendous 6-0 shitting-on at Hull.
