Would you get an iFollow season ticket?

This is indeed possible, as the word luddite was used I didn't want to go too far into it.

Re: Would you get an iFollow season ticket?
Someone help me out here. I see that Bradford are now saying that it's OK to stream the game, but why were they originally objecting to it?

Re: Would you get an iFollow season ticket?
I don't think it was Bradford who were the issue. The EFL hold the rights for the cup competition and hadn't authorised the teams to stream online however due to the fact no fans can attend there has been pressure to allow the games to be shown online. The only caveat being that no game can be streamed if chosen for Live TV. So in short I think they were waiting on permission from the EFL before saying it's ok.

Aye, but Bradford didn't exactly wait - they chose to issue a strongly-worded "absolutely no chance" statement when others were giving it the "wait and see" or, in some cases, "Buy your online pass here".DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 11:10 amI don't think it was Bradford who were the issue. I'm probably getting this totally arse about face but t'other day I downloaded an app on to the firestick. It was called downloader and allowed me onto the www through mi telly. I thought from there I could perhaps download iFollow and hey presto, watch it on the box without the need for a laptop or cable

No because it's a cup game. Only home league game streams are included with the season ticket.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 12:56 pmDo STH's not get it fer nowt?Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:10 amhttps://www.bwfc.co.uk/ifollow/subscrib ... ailability

Really excited about the first two games. They should give us a good idea of where we really stand. Well worth a few quid to view them, I'd say.

Me too but I’m abroad on holiday for those first two and wondering if that will balls up the permissions... anyone any idea?

Use a proxy IP and it should be the same as being at home. However, I'd assume iFollow can be used abroad anyway. They'd not want to limit who can pay to watch.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 10:01 pmMe too but I’m abroad on holiday for those first two and wondering if that will balls up the permissions... anyone any idea?
Re: Would you get an iFollow season ticket?
Wasn't the point of it initially that you needed to be abroad (to watch the Saturday 3pms anyway)? Then we had people using proxies to pretend to be abroad.
Don't know, but would expect it to be fine.

Re: Would you get an iFollow season ticket?
Thanks, I didn't know about iFollow, but I do now. I think streaming is the future of watching sport for most people and as a revenue stream for clubs. I'm a little surprised that it has taken a global pandemic for this to really be pushed but that's good for me. Usual caveats about nothing like the matchday experience, but many for many of us this is just not an option.

On the contrary, iFollow users abroad have live access to every match.

Yep, think I got that, but I’m wondering whether signing up here then accessing abroad will melt its little brain. Might just buy the two cup games ad-hoc while over there.

Re: Would you get an iFollow season ticket?
Is £10 not a bit steep to be watching a relatively meaningless game on yer laptop? it's the sort of game to which one's normally only charged something like £5 to actually turn up and watch anyway!

Certainly feels a lot steeper than it did a week ago...

Yeah, but I suppose the single lads get hit and the families save money. If you're a couple with three kids and your parents pop over too then it's an absolute bargain.
