What's the collective noun for a group of wheelchair bound detectives? Newport County at home. 26th Sep 2020 3.00pm

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

I think we’ve worked out how fecking shite they are defensively. Not sure it’s any worse than us. God it’s embarrassing. Atrocious except maybe Doyle who must be wondering what the actual feck he has signed on for.

It’s proper embarrassing stuff this. We are getting worse week on week. When will we ever bottom out.
As we've slipped down the leagues I've watched many, many of our players try to do difficult things with the ball which were simply beyond the limit of their capabilities. We're now watching players who're finding parks pitch basics too fecking difficult, both in terms of thought and action.

Delfounso and Hickman have been the bright spots. Santos, Comley and Crawford have been bloody awful. Our defending on corners is the worst I've ever seen from a professional side.

Fonz couldn't dig it out from under his feet. Pity as I'm struggling to remember a clearer chance this season. I screamed "HIT!" so hard I've hurt my throat, then clasped my hands to my head so hard I nearly broke my glasses.

Darkly humouring myself by imagining a snap Player of the Season poll right now. White, undoubtedly, and Crellin's saves deserve second, but who's third? Hickman because he's crossed it a couple of times? Fonz because he doesn't hide?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, and I apologise if I've missed it, but we're not actually meant to be zonal marking here are we?

Oh and a word for Newport, who I may have unfairly maligned. They do look inventive off set pieces but they've been far from long-ball - indeed they've had majority possession because they've passed better than we have. And that's hardly a KPI of Project Joy.

Genuinely couldn't tell you. Cos it doesn't matter if you're supposed to be zonal, man to man or a combination - if you fall asleep you'll get beat. I'm really sorry to say it's not improving.

Other than Bradford I’ve really not been massively impressed with white. Opinions eh!

It’s one of them I’m absolutely flabbergasted at how bad it was - it was our undoing last week and we are playing last seasons top scorers from set pieces. Surely you work on it?

I'm sensing that me spening a tenner to watch the second half wouldn't be a wise investment?

Doesn't matter which approach, somebody has to go and try to fecking head the thing away.

I could live without Henshaw shouting "CHANCE!!!" every time we touch it in their half.

It's like we're not sure what we're supposed to be. For a minute we look like a side trying to play out from the back (badly), the next we're lumping it up aimlessly.

I'm really not seeing any improvements individually or collectively week to week.

I'm pretty sure that the last time I saw us play Newport, we absolutely dicked them and the on loan Stuart Ripley was superb.

Hard to see what's going to happen with this side other than get worse.

Dreadful from back to front.
