I want to see us look like we can win games. We might not win but at least look like for periods of the game we could score goals and not concede a hatful. If we can do that then eventually results will come. Thus far our only win was a decent performance but the others for me we've never looked like a team likely to win the match.....

Our win was the only game in which we've had minority possession (39%) and we also recorded a season-low for attempts on goal (7 – we had more against Grimsby, just not on target). Results business, I know, but maybe you're just pining for Parky

But for whatever reason we looked more solid and more like when we did attack we'd score. Perhaps it was because we sat a bit deeper and let them have the ball - but whatever - in the other games regardless of possession I didn't think we looked like winning.

They've scored a few and conceded a few. We're a little bit the other way around. 3-3 draw

I seem to be doing the same weekly game prep.

Sunday, convince myself there were signs of improvement. Wonder how we managed to swap Santos for someone who looks like Santos but doesn't play like Santos. Declare this as a plot on QAnon. Next weekend will by 1-0 to Whites.

Monday to Wednesday, convince myself that we've located Doyle. We transition defence into attack and vice versa with players as well as Crawford. 3-0 Whites. I update Qanon with news that I can now see through Ian Evatt's eyes.

Thursday. Doyle has been abducted by aliens. We managed to score just one in training. 1-0 Whites.

Friday. With the swing of training focus to the attack, someone spots we're back to conceding in defence as we've moved Santos to attacking midfield. 1-1 draw.

Saturday. Start drinking early. Contemplate not parting with a tenner. Convince myself it'll all click this week and I'll miss a 3-0 Wanderers. Wait for 14:00 team announcement, roll back to 2-1 Wanderers. 14:57 part with tenner hoping for at least a point...

It's tough being a White.

They're even worse at the back than we are, but there simply isn't a goal in us. They've scored seven goals. 3-0 to Oldham and more post match horseshit from Evatt.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Yeah we're winning this one, lads. Early goal for Doyle and then on to a 3-0 victory.

Bear in mind we play at Barrow in midweek, and some players aren't yet up to puff – Tutte has been blowing a bit after the hour - while you wouldn't expect the same wingbacks to start Sat-Tue-Sat. The manager might think that's a harder game (and one he really really wants to win). Which is not to take away from this one, but hopefully Comley can find his feet against Oldham.

Comley has shown very little so far and it seems a big risk to start him in place of Tutte. Why not start Tutte and try to establish a lead before subbing him off?
