Interesting...Scunthorpe winning at Port Vale. Won at Oldham on the weekend - our next but one game. Thought them and Southend were the only bigger disasters than us.

Comley's instinct is to always go backwards. Why? Here he goes backwards into two Newcastle players instead of taking Crellins throw and going forward into open space. Old habits die hard.

Yep I thought he turned into trouble but if he had turned and gone forwards he would have at worst drawn a free kick. I suspect coco didn’t tell him that mind. A pass with a “Turn” instruction.

But why's the ball going to him in the first place when Crellin has clear options both left and right? It's difficult enough to make any kind of a case for the lad anyway without him picking completely the wrong option before getting done on his near postofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 7:20 pmI mean fecking hell, Comley really shouldn’t be outmuscled by someone in the U23s. You have to question his desire to play for us.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Comedy of errors goal.
Agree with Brucie.
Wrong pass from Crellin
Wrong turn from Comley
Poor near post coverage
Took a week to actually get down.

Can’t argue with that! Tonight might well be the last time he turns out for us. He ain’t our player.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 8:00 pmBut why's the ball going to him in the first place when Crellin has clear options both left and right? Haha I love it when I think of comparisons between some of the poorer players we had in the top flight. In truth we have some players now who could (should?) be some of the worst who ever turn out for us. A midfield of Reo Coker, Guthrie, Eagles and Petrov would wipe the floor with this lot!

I did feel guilty putting Nigel as the victim as it's a really brutal insult.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 8:07 pmHaha I love it when I think of comparisons between some of the poorer players we had in the top flight. Hmm, it's frozen - must be all the SuperWhiteArmy tuning in - but it looks like Thomason and Henry are coming on

Comley is a secret league agent isn't he?
Really, really bad.
