Evatt has a bag of Revells to contend with. Who'll turn up? Stevenage Away 21/11/2020 3pm

What would be the downside of bringing on Darcy for Crawford now?
Drawing 2-2?

Not saying it would happen though.
Because Crawford is such a stupendous defender?
He don't tackle much, but he does cover a lot of pitch and closes down...

He was the pick of our midfield for me today. We look a bit ragged to me since the subs.

Delaney, that yellow will be worth it if the shoot over the bar.

Might be better if he stops being caught out in the first place no?

Evatt clearly doesn’t trust most of the subs, which I can understand to an extent, but it’s a big problem if we have ambitions of progressing any further up the league.

What you expecting from these players?

They're going to make mistakes.

Wrong option from Miller there.

For sure. He’s not had a great day today though.

Looking at some of the other scores (scunthorpe winning again!) we really could do with holding on here.

Doesn't help that we've switched from 3-5-2 to 3-4-3 to accommodate Isgrove.

I get the idea, attack being the best form of defence etc, but emptying the midfield as Tutte tires doesn't seem sensible.

Harder-fought than it should have been, but a fortnight ago we'd have taken three wins on the bounce however they came. Onwards.

Great result.

Didn't like some of the moments in the second half but a good resolute performance.

Yep, happy with that one. Scrappy 2nd half as Stevenage fought tooth and nail to get back into it, but we were still the better side. Anything less than a win would have been an injustice. Starting to click now!

Second half was pretty encouraging in that we withstood pressure without too many serious wobbles.

Great save from Gilks.

The thing we lack still is an outlet with some pace. It stands out like a sore thumb in the last twenty minutes. Could have killed it off really.

But a good result and the signs are that we are starting to get this league is a battle first and you’ve got to be prepared to scrap. Fear of relegation fading a bit and hopefully we can push on into the top half and see where we end up.
