I must tell you that Maddison made me open my eyes wide. A top player.

His agent will be using us to get some tongues wagging. Expect him to sign for a League 1 club..Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 4:56 pmProper No.10. Highly rated at Peterborough, refused to sign a new contract and was thus listed in his final year, as they do automatically. Went to Hull and then Charlton. Definitely third-tier quality at least - if you can get a tune out of him. 52 goals in 212 T3 games for Posh.
Meanwhile, official twitter implies another signing incoming
1 in 4 is good going for a striker down in this league - From a midfielder? That's class

Surely that West Ham winger/forward signing makes Maddison unlikely? Unless we’ve managed to get rid of Crawford?

Might get a chance to play against his previous club tomorrow night.
Played 6 times and scored once.
We'll see.

Will start on the bench I imagine, along with the Lincoln winger whose name I can’t spell.

Iles:
Marcus Maddison update.
Spoke to a couple of mates down in the capital, and both say there's a very good chance the Bolton deal happens.
We know Ian Evatt is trying to clear some space - and it may be that some funds are also freed up by the sale of Regan Riley. Folk down at Norwich say that one is still edging along.
Maddison is out of favour with Lee Bowyer. It's fair to say his style doesn't quite match up with that of his manager at the moment. Bolton, in League Two, is another matter altogether.
Would I like to see him pulling the strings in midfield, getting back to top form? Yes please, mum.

Seems to be suggesting an outgoing now? Do we need one for squad space? Or is TomWhite going enough? I can’t keep up!
Edit Riley - thought that had already gone through.

Riley wouldn't count on squad size but White wouldofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 5:43 pmSeems to be suggesting an outgoing now? Do we need one for squad space? Or is TomWhite going enough? I can’t keep up!

I don't know about his attitude but ability wise Maddison would be class. One I've heard of!

Nov 13, 2016 Peterborough 1-0 Bolton – we were second, they were 10th
Apr 30, 2017 Bolton 3-0 Peterborough - we were second, they were 11th
Dec 14, 2019 Peterborough 1-0 Bolton – they were fourth, we were 23rd

Maddison has caught my eye a couple of times. Good player. Seems to have some attitude issues judging by reports but I guess beggars can’t be choosers.

Crawford going to Tranmere apparently. Which makes sense with Maddison on the radar.
