We've got more pressing matters to concern ourselves with, clearly, but surely it's Gren-idge, not Green-idge?
If he wants a career as a footballer he’s got bigger things to worry about than the pronunciation of his name, unfortunately.

Bit of football almost broke out between the throw-ins - Cheltenham did admirably to pass round our high press and construct an attack ended by an offside flag

Low on quality high on...throw ins?

Either team could win this. If we can get Delf and Isgrove on the ball on the ground more no reason it can’t be us.

The other positive - this lot are second in the league - on the basis of organisation and being good at throw ins. There’s hope yet.

Contrary to my earlier position I am now extremely worried about Grenidge’s positional sense, lack of awareness, and bizarrely and unwillingness to track back. If he’s a footballer I’m a lumberjack.

You can bet the homers get a rocket at half time. Hope Evatt does likewise. One goal can make al the difference to who get it first. Marc II'es reckons even stevens?

I'm going to get a cuppa, whilst I assemble my random thoughts...quite a few of which involve "he's not a footballer".

Level about right.

It is even. We’ve had more of the ball and probably the best chance but their chances have generally been better - got clear of Delaney at least once. It’s anyone’s game. I hope we dont do another second half disappearing act.

The allegedly lump-it hosts have a higher passing accuracy percentage than the silky visitors. JSL

I’d say they were direct rather than lump it - they get it forward quicker than we do and it’s a pass or two before a through ball or releasing the wide man. I think they are well organised.

Finishing off a piece I'm writing, I miss the first eight seconds of the second half. By the time I look up, a 6ft12 centre-back has already clonked the ball out of play.

A reasonable assessment.

Glad to see an advert for "Oil tanks supplied direct." At last – I've spent so many years buying oil tanks through shady mediators.

I agree. That kind of urgency is something we're crying out for.

Good save Gilks from a clear shot on the second phase of a Tozerball.

Greenidge with a half-chance, which he took with all the savoir-faire of a bear playing chess.

Their captain can't kick the ball, either. But he can (1) be tall and (2) chuck it dead far.
