If we come out after half time like we usuallly do we are in trouble here.

Very harsh. Keeper got tips to it.

Doyle should have scored there.

Unlucky Doyle. Got wiped out but straight up and in the end of the cross. Would've been justice if he'd buried it!

Quigley. Looks the sort of strong lad we need. Impressed me so far.

Quiqley is a decent player.

Actually lol.
That easy.

You're set for the cross without the touch. A split second to react. Just trying to greet anything on it.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 3:46 pmFirst time. Knee it. Kick it. Probably a goal.
You can see how Quigley was the focal point for Evatt-ball. A real weakness of Doyle.

Gut says we will lose this 1-0. Think they are well drilled and doing a good number on us.

Given he’s been carried by his 9 other outfield team mates then a chance like that you need to take if you offer absolutely nothing else other than constantly giving it away.

If you offer absolutely nothing other than being our current top scorer of course.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 3:49 pmGiven he’s been carried by his 9 other outfield team mates then a chance like that you need to take if you offer absolutely nothing else other than constantly giving it away.

They're probably more pi$$ed than us at HT. Great save Gilks. As has been said, we need to be out of the blocks in second half.

I'd still like to see us be a bit braver and quicker when winning back possession. By the time we've passed it sideways and backwards a couple of times they've got all XI back in their half.
Not a bad half though

Dapo out to the right, Arthur on for Isgrove and put on the left.

Yeah build up too slow. When Afolyan gets in central or Sarce then we look to build quicker. These are the two with the quality we need on the ball in the middle of the park for me.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 3:56 pmI'd still like to see us be a bit braver and quicker when winning back possession. I don’t really rate Isgrove I’m afraid still. With Doyle up front we need someone who can more consistently create some supply. And the half is a perfect example of why with Doyle up top you need one of your wide men to want the ball a lot and to make stuff happen. Because with how Barrow play there is no space in behind and Doyle with his back to goal struggles big time.
It’s where having another striker to go alongside him who offers the ability to hold the ball would be helpful.
