More than just a finger injury. Bet it stung some.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 5:29 pmWell I hope Frankie enjoyed that if we was looking down.
He came from an era where you won your game then steak and chips, few pints before scuttling some local lass.
Vegans, men talking about their feelings and being stretchered off for a finger injury? Give over!

It's ok but I prefer Lidl's Perlenbacher.TonyDomingos wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:59 pmWorthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:34 pmI'm in.nelson66 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:31 pmAfter examining my mother in laws stools...
M&G.L would be my go to recommendation in the current climate.
A safe dividend of 9% (dividend cover increasing year on year)
A increase in assets under management (again year on year)
Probably undervalued by at least 50%
Better than putting your money in a cash ISA at 1%
That Aldi lager must be strong stuff!

You're lucky you don't have minimum unit pricing down there. Diamond White gives you far less bangs for your buck up here, giving our winos the appearance of being a little more discerning.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 11:50 pmYou deffo get more bangs for buck with Diamond White, but quality wins the day!nelson66 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 11:24 pmHave you ever tasted Cristal ??? There's a lot of speculation and plenty of shite sites glorying in the "horror" but no real word. Their boss said "He’s sustained a significant hand injury that’s going to require some work surgically, so let’s see how that goes first before we speculate on what’s going to happen" [ie length of absence].dave the minion wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:32 amDoes anyone know what he actually did to his hand - can't work out what's happened.....

It's ok but I prefer Lidl's Perlenbacher.

Pic from the lad. Doesn't look like a dislocated finger. I'm certain he'll be out for a while but like you say I'm sure there will be an official statement.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:36 amThere's a lot of speculation and plenty of shite sites glorying in the "horror" but no real word. It’s mad how that actually happened. One of the strangest injuries I’ve ever seen. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and hope he’s back in time for their play off games.

Aye, good luck and a speedy recovery to the lad. Lousy luck for it to happen.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 8:25 pmIt’s mad how that actually happened. One of the strangest injuries I’ve ever seen. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and hope he’s back in time for their play off games.

I still can’t work out what happened. Wondered at first whether he’d got his hand caught in Williams’ loose shirt. Nasty though.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 8:39 pmAye, good luck and a speedy recovery to the lad. I had Goose Island once in an American restaurant which only offered about four beer options. Goose Island (IPA as I recall) sounded the least unpleasant so I took the plunge. The kindest thing I can say is that it was disappointing. Never tried Wooha (assuming it is obtainable over here) and won't now.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 8:21 pmNasty beard stuff, you aren't wrong LE. Not as bad as Goose Island though. Worst beer I had the misfortune to drink (luckily a supplier freebie) in decades was Wooha. The only worse beer than that was what amounted to a half of puke at a beardy CAMRA event nearly 3 decades ago. My stomach still turns at the thought of it

Tis an IPA. There are much better ones available from your side of the pond. Quite enjoy Shipyard for an occasional quaff.Montreal Wanderer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 2:26 pmI had Goose Island once in an American restaurant which only offered about four beer options.
