Live a little. Try something new. I was probably drinking Holt's whilst you were but a twinkle.

Fook me, I was envying Prince Andrew then. I'm bloody wet through!
Wondered where you were going with that first sentence! 😳
I still don't know where he was going with it!
Pizza express Woking?
Nothing!
Prince Andrew told Emily Maitlis that he couldnt be a nonce because one of the complainants said he was sweaty. He said he had a medical condition that prevented him from sweating. Cue photographs in the following days papers of Andrew sweating like I was by the 85th minute today.
Oh what a welcome relief. A very welcome relief. Blimey!

That came from too much adrenaline when fighting in the Falklands, no less.

It's a genuinely astonishing interview. You can see the cogs slowly turning in his head. You spend your life being fawned over and end up genuinely believing you can just make up any old shit on the fly and people will buy it.

Had I flown helicopters into battle, shagged Koo Stark, and then a fit 17 year old whilst in my 60s, I'd rather hope to be lauded, if I'm honest!

Surely that's how the nobility should behave. Not talking to fecking cucumbers? :conf:

What a superb goal we scored. Doyle's technique was superb. Up there with the best. Doesn't give you much more but certainly can finish in the box, similar to Klasnic. I thought we were solid throughout and looked like pros seeing off the challenge who were severely restricted after they lost their striker.

Tough on them but not our concern. We did what we had to do. Santos, Baptiste and Williams were superb again. Thomasson not so much, but could be due to ring rust as he improved towards the end of his stint. I am starting to believe that we can win the whole thing!!

Well I hope Frankie enjoyed that if we was looking down.

He came from an era where you won your game then steak and chips, few pints before scuttling some local lass.

Yeah a massive win. The gameplan worked in the sense we scored and if we are honest they rarely looked like doing. But the trouble with this is on another day, you get unstuck. I would like to see us play a little more assertively even if it’s clear they are a good side.

But 3 more points. Can’t go down.
But it wasn't another day. It was today, and it worked, and we won.

You've been peddling this "on another day" bull all season. You can only play the team in front of you. It doesn't matter a jot whether the way we played today would beat anyone else. It was enough to beat Forest Green. And if we were playing someone else, we wouldn't have played exactly the same way.

Just enjoy yourself for once, for God's sake.
I am enjoying myself. We have more gears and it would be nice to find them sometimes.
I think we could find them but it would come at the risk of exposing our defence. We got a goal up and controlled the game without pushing forward rapidly making the game more end to end. Slowing down their play is quite important and I think we did that rather well.

Broughton Park :-) I'm sure they'd be welcoming of me now wearing black nail varnish and calling myself Patricia, too!

Nasty beard stuff, you aren't wrong LE. Not as bad as Goose Island though. Worst beer I had the misfortune to drink (luckily a supplier freebie) in decades was Wooha. The only worse beer than that was what amounted to a half of puke at a beardy CAMRA event nearly 3 decades ago. My stomach still turns at the thought of it :vomit:
