Just read exactly the same. A reminder to keep one's feet on the ground if ever there was one! :(

Aye. I like Seamus Heaney’s take on it: “We should keep our feet on the ground to signify that nothing is beneath us, but we should also lift up our eyes to say nothing is beyond us.”

Big incentive for the boys now after last night, let’s hope they rise to the challenge and don’t freeze up.

Gilks

Jones Santos Baptiste John

MJ Lee

Isgrove Dapo Delf

Doyle

Thomason was out on his feet at the end of the game Tuesday so I’d look to bring him on during the second half.

0-2 Bolton.

It's also 20 years since Deano and Villa. First major birthday for my Grandad in 30 years I won't have to miss Bolton in an FA Cup semi final for.

My bottles gone so I'll be doing jobs at the nieces house for at least the first half. We don't do comfortable wins. Another close game imo. I'd go with The Guns line up ^ if all are feeling fit and well.

All this negativity. Some words from Ian Evatt.

"Yes, we’re in an auto place, but we’re not first – I want us to be first. That’s what I want for us, that’s what I want for the players. Promotion is the aim and the ambition, but for this season to be remembered the way I’d like it to be remembered, I have a massive determination, as do the players, to finish first. There are times this season it has looked unlikely. That isn’t the case now. It might not pan out but we will be giving it our best shot. We will leave it all out there.”

COYWM. With 5 games left, I don't give a shiny shite how we come by wins. They could bore me shitless for all 450 minutes plus added time for five 1-0's.

Despite about what we care about winning, being entertained etc, etc, there isn't one true Bolton fan who doesn't want the wins, and never more than right now.. It's what we exist for football wise for me, for those of my era,70 years of supporting one team only through all the roller-coaster rides since Belle Vue had The Bobs. if you're Bolton, you're Bolton. This season we've done a phoenix and risen back from the ashes. Come on lads, this is your moment, get in there and grab it.

COME ON YOU WHITES.... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Apparently Bassini had his bid accepted this day 2 years ago too.

Need something good to happen today so we can say, that's the day we went top and never looked back.

It’s very Bolton to beat Salford then go and lose at Grimsby. But then it was very Man City to do these things 20 years back. Things change. Today is a great day to show they are changing.

Had it since Sarce's injury
...as he was made vice-captain preseason.

For the record, when he's been substituted he has handed the armband to Ricardo Santos.

Yep living up to ‘being Bolton’. Softest goal we’ve conceded in ages that.
