Might I recommend a travel kettle for the future? I'm sure the lads and lasses will chip a bob in each :)

I know Jackson is contracted to Huddersfield beyond this year, but if he were available to us I’d snap him up.
Not if we can get John. Shame one isn’t a right back to be honest.
Aye, much as I like Gethin, I suspect we'll need someone to raise the bar on the right. We'll need a few all over, in fact. But that's a chat for another day.

John is better, but also five years older. I don’t think Hudds will let him go, but Jackson looks like he’ll be at least a good League One left back.

So, I finally dared to look at the scores ....

Whoop feckin' whoop! The Whites are going up!
Às armas, às armas!
Sobre a terra, sobre o mar,
Às armas, às armas!
Pela Pátria lutar!
Contra os canhões marchar, marchar!

Could be an idea as I don't have a kettle to put on the bench. We're fecked if this one conks out!
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill!

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

Interesting all the talk of a toss-up between Baptiste and Tommy Fleetwood for motm, because I have Jackson down as a shoe-in for it. Came in for John and played like John at his best. Plus, given the amount of fumbling, fecking about and falling over anything and everything in and around the box he took the shot on (twice) superbly. I thought the lad was superb and certainly allays fears regarding the length of John's possible absence.
This. In spades.

Ben Jackson <3 the next two games will prove him to be the Aaron Wilbraham of our season.

Just be happy for once Insano with no caveats. It's a great place to be :-) regardless of woulda, shoulda, coulda. 4 points clear. 2 to play. Need to keep it going.

Sun's out sky's blue, there's a group playing wonderful shit in our boozer. There's been beer n platters. A win for the Whites...what's missing:-)
There are no caveats. It was a tough game and we got a break and did the business. It’s not a criticism simply stating that for once we’ve had a break of fortune when it really mattered. Not sure what’s wrong with that?
Would we have won that against 11 and if they hadn’t lost both full backs early on to a red and injury. I’d say probably not,

Knock yourself out.
Tipped the balance though. Like at Port Vale. You are seeing something that isn’t there. Was going to be a tough 50:50 game. We got a little luck maybe. Or their lad was stupid. Who cares? I’m just delighting in that fact.
I"m seeing another 3 points for the Whites. You're seeing reasons why we might not have got them, when we did and trying to fit that to your narrative.

I'm seeing the sun shine, the whites in 3rd being one win away from promotion.

Definite nerve fest. I've had my stainless steel undercrackers steam cleaned, polished up and ready to go.

Wonder if there'll be a turn-out at the Unibol next week...

Seems very likely based on the events of yesterday. If I wasn’t 200 miles away I’d definitely be in attendance, as it’ll be some party if we win.

Suspect quite a few. Half wonder if club might put something on but I suspect it’s not really their style and doing something Covid secure at late notice would be tough.

I imagine it would break some EFL rules re covid as well. As we’re not a ‘big six’ I don’t fancy chancing a points deduction. Shame as it’s better managed, surely?

I think if the club do anything, such as a beer garden etc then they run the risk of punishment. That said if 2000 people turn up without any club involvement who socially distance themselves in accordance with the rules then I'm sure there is nothing the EFL can do.

Sad state of affairs but I think we need to tread carefully as all the other clubs aren't doing anything of the sorts so could look on it unfavourably.

Club is also being used as vaccination centre (that's using South Car Park...) so not sure Club will do much. Few of the Morcambe day trippers seem to be planning to drop by.

Was great to see them getting a boost from the folks that turned out yesterday, good to see Evatt sending team to acknowledge them after the game and the grin on Shazza's face was priceless....(although, I reckon she's got a Delia moment in her) :-)
