We face the Grecians on what is potentially our day of destiny. The start of a journey maybe. Or the start of another week or nervous twitching.

Either way - what a chance. What a chance for a team 20th in February to write itself into the club's folklore. The only BWFC team to be promoted without a single fan in attendance.

Head says we've come too far now and we'll do this lot on Saturday 1-0 as per.

Gut says - we're gonna leave something on the table till the very last game.

But either way I suspect the Middlebrook will be a hell of a place Saturday afternoon!

COYW!

Don’t rule out that what might be on the last-day table is the chance of the title... we’ll know better after tomorrow night.

Would be an awesome last day that because we could all relax and enjoy it!

Would be nice to be thinking that way.

We've also got the incredibly less likely case of Cheltenham, Cambridge and Bolton losing all their matches and having the possibility of Bolton finishing anywhere from 1st-5th on the final day.

1-0 was enough at Wrexham in 1987/88!

I think we’ll do better...maybe 2-0! Sarce will make a difference.

What about that dude behind the goal at Cheltenham? (Asking for a pedant ;) )

I know I shouldn't have, but I've been checking out who's likely to be coming down out of The Championship, and who's likely to remain in League one. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeese don't feck it up now!

Don’t tempt fate!!! I will be absolutely delighted to be a league one side for a few years. The standard in league two is pretty awful and I feel it’s a reasonable step up. Just hope we get the job done and we can then all look forward to next season.

Methinks Bruce is referring to which current Champ sides might be in L1 next term, no?

As I’ve said before, I’m in no hurry to return to that fiscal suicide pact of a division - but if in a year’s time we are in the brink of promotion to it, I wouldn’t want us to lose... although I suspect we may need a squad overhaul in summer for that to be even remotely possible.

But yeah, let’s finish this job first...

Yes he is. I was just saying that league one is a reasonable league to be in as Bruce said with the sides potentially coming down as well. Be happy to be in there a couple of years. But of course we’ve got to get there first.

We're Bolton Wanderers. Even on our best run in years they've put us through the wringer. Saturday will be no different. It'll be tight. I just hope to God we can do it and have a relaxed last day of the season the following weekend.

Exeter have become the 0-0 specialists of late. Holding both Newport, FGR and Southend to nil in the past three games. Prior to that, inconsistent at best. A 2-1 loss to Barrow followed up a 4-1 demolition of Cambridge.

They play Grimsby tonight, a team still fighting for their lives. Here’s hoping for a few red cards and key man injuries off the back of an energy-sapping run around the green.

For our part, let’s hope we make the extra days off count! 2-1 Whites.

Declan John - bench at best? Surely Jacko keeps his place on merit?

If he's fit put John on the left wing. I mean he's easily our best crosser. And probably our best traditional 'winger' type. I would.

It's an interesting idea, but it's unlikely IMO. Isgrove has to stay in, so it would mean dropping Dapo, assuming we're not playing him at 10, where Sarce is likely to start.

And drop Dapo or Lloyd? Narrr
I mean I’ve no issue with him coming on with that in mind...

Sarce in for thommo as well. Looks like a winning team to me.
